Simulating station operations on the ground is fundamental to building Haven-1 hardware and improving flight safety. Earlier this month, we tested Impulse Space Saiph Thruster on our multi thruster vacuum stand. Haven Demo flew with 3 thrusters and Haven-1 will operate 48.

Vast introduces Haven-2, our proposed successor to the International Space Station (ISS), at #IAC2024. When fully built, Haven-2 will surpass the ISS in capabilities and cost efficiency. Haven-2’s first module will be operational in 2028, ensuring continued U.S. and international presence in LEO after the ISS’s scheduled retirement in 2030.

In October, we completed a successful fit check of the docking adaptor for Haven-1, marking another key milestone toward launch. Haven-1’s fully tested passive docking adapter, built to international docking system standards and likely the first-ever manufactured for a commercial station, will enable precise crew-vehicle docking.
