Dear friends, When the Dmk government first assumed office in 2021, ministers like and personally visited several unhygienic locations, inspecting even bathroom-to-bathroom conditions on the ground. I was there as a field reporter at the time. I still remember visiting a severely polluted area near the Buckingham Canal behind Elephant Gate, where Minister Sekar Babu and then Chennai Commissioner Gagandeep singh bedi through the filth to inspect and discuss clean-up measures. Watching that, I genuinely felt that a major transformation was underway. But even today, the same Buckingham Canal stretch remains in a terrible condition. The reason I mention this is simple: every new government begins with energy, bold action, and symbolic interventions. The real question is whether that momentum continues over time. If it does, that is truly welcome. Right now, this is still the “honeymoon period,” where almost everything is naturally viewed in a positive light. Video capture date : 06/06/2021

மீண்டும் ஒரு கூவத்தூர் ? AIADMK MLAs are reportedly being brought to a luxury resort in Puducherry to prevent them from shifting allegiance to TVK. All these MLAs are said to be supporters of Edappadi K. Palaniswami’s leadership. Sources say that all necessary facilities have been arranged for the AIADMK MLAs at the luxury resort. Reports indicate that the MLAs are being provided with a wide range of food items, premium accommodation, beachside recreational activities, swimming pool access, and other luxury amenities. Around 30 MLAs are reportedly under the control and supervision of C.V. Shanmugam and Leema Rose. C.V. Shanmugam and Leema Rose are reportedly pressuring Edappadi K. Palaniswami to join hands with TVK and become part of the government. Sources further claim that negotiations are being planned seeking one Deputy Chief Minister post and up to 10 ministerial berths.
