As Keir Starmer cried for himself at the end of his resignation speech, I thought about the children, parents and staff that he set out to hurt with VAT on school fees. The education of children continues to be disrupted as schools close. Not once has he thought of them.

Ed Miliband in conversation with David Kynaston discussing how VAT on private school fees will: “shrink the sector” and “hit the sector quite seriously” which will include the closure of schools. No wonder the Gov needs 4 KCs to defend them from their spiteful tax raid.
