They said I wouldn’t debate. I went on with Candace Owens for an hour. No moderator. Just a real conversation to set the record straight. The truth is, I’m not afraid to sit down with anyone and defend what I believe. I got passionate, but it’s because the truth matters. I’ve spent my life leading under pressure, making hard decisions, and tackling issues head on. Colorado needs a leader who will stand for what’s right, even when it may be unpopular, even what it’s hard. That’s what I wanted to prove with this interview.

THANK YOU, COLORADO. Because of you, your time, your door knocking, your phone calls, and your belief in something bigger than politics, we just won the Republican nomination for Governor. This victory belongs to every volunteer and supporter who refused to give up on our state. I am grateful beyond words. Now the real work begins. Colorado families are facing real challenges. High costs. Unaffordable housing and healthcare. Fears about unsafe neighborhoods and schools. Let’s face it, Colorado has changed, and not for the better. But there is hope. We can unite and build a better, stronger Colorado for all of us. This isn’t about a single political party. It’s about a single, unified Colorado! The general election starts now. Let’s go win it together.

UPDATE on Candace/Corby Interview. 1. Candace, as I've said before, I'm happy to sit down with you face to face. We can talk about my life, my faith, my testimony-and even the Corby situation, though it's clear there's nothing there. We still pray for him. Corby, if you want to speak to me, you can reach out directly and sit down face to face on my podcast. You can share your perspective to me-not through others. To be clear, we won't be promoting your products, and I will address and correct the claims you've made that are false. If you're serious and sincere, reach out through Candace- I've included a clip you shared on social media a while back. Thought it might remind you of the kind story you did.

There are some lines you don’t cross. Trying to shame me for the abuse I suffered as a child is one of them. I’ve spent my life turning what was meant to destroy me into a mission to protect others. To weaponize someone’s childhood trauma for political gain is not journalism. It’s vile. But I’m not going to play the standard political game. I didn’t run for Governor to hide behind talking points, consultants, carefully controlled interviews, or scripted sound bites. That’s why I’ve challenged Phil Weiser to a one-on-one debate. No moderator. No one to hide behind. No 30-second or 90-second cutoff. No one interrupting or stopping the conversation. Just two men, face-to-face, laying out our records, our positions, and our plans for Colorado, and having the opportunity to challenge each other directly on what is said. Coloradans deserve to hear that. And if someone wants to be the next Governor of Colorado, but won’t sit face-to-face with his opponent without a moderator standing between us, that tells Coloradans something. I’m ready. Phil, the people deserve to hear from both of us unfiltered and uninterrupted. Let’s go!

It shouldn’t be controversial that: (1) law enforcement, enforces the law (2) state officials protect Coloradans Starting day one, I will lift every single impediment that hinders any state or federal law enforcement agency from doing their jobs I will NEVER bow to a mob—my loyalty is to the people of this great state and nothing will get in between me and the safety of Coloradans

Victor Marx accepting Candice Owen invitation . I’ve seen the invitation from Candace Owens and I’m open to the conversation. I’m willing to sit down, face to face, and answer some questions she has. If she’d like to speak with Corby, she’s free to do that separately and on her own timeline. I’m happy to come to her, or she’s welcome to come to me. I’ll even bring Eileen, since she’s already spoken about us publicly before. I’ve shared my testimony for years, and our life has been documented. I’m not hiding from anything. I’ll speak honestly about my story, my faith, and the work we’ve done. And where it’s appropriate, I’ll also address questions involving Turning Point, Charlie Kirk, and Erika Kirk. Truth doesn’t need conditions. It just needs a seat at the table.

Governor Polis, you’re late! While you and your party have been playing political games, Tina Peters has been unjustly held in prison. This week, Governor Jared Polis finally called her sentence “harsh,” but where was your compassion back in 2024? I’m committed to bringing Tina home on day one! At 70 years old, she deserves to spend her remaining years in the comfort of her home, not behind bars. Join me in demanding justice! Bring Tina Peters Home – NOW!

We’ve watched a beautiful state lose its moral compass — from classrooms to our communities. But it’s not too late to turn things around. I sat down with David J Harris Jr and shared my heart for Colorado and why leadership rooted in truth and conviction matters more now than ever. Change won’t come from politicians who follow polls; it’ll come from people who follow principles. That’s why I’m running — to restore courage, integrity, and direction to Colorado.

An apology may be in order. To Senator Barb Kirkmeyer and Pastor Scott Bottoms, please accept my apology. Not because I’ve attacked either of you. I haven’t. But because an unexpected candidate entered this race and changed the entire landscape. A candidate who wasn’t supposed to be here. A candidate who wasn’t part of the political establishment. A candidate who built a grassroots movement that has reached every corner of Colorado. The truth is, I didn’t enter this race because I wanted a title. I entered because I love Colorado, and after carefully assessing the field, I did not believe either Republican candidate had a realistic path to winning the general election. That’s not ego. That’s why I got in. I’ve also said repeatedly that if the people of Colorado choose either one of them in the primary, I will support them. Because this race is bigger than any one person. Unfortunately, neither has been willing to make that same commitment if Colorado voters choose me. That’s the difference between running for yourself and running for the people. Coloradans don’t wake up worried about political games. They’re worried about affording groceries. They’re worried about rising property taxes. They’re worried about energy costs. They’re worried about public safety. They’re worried about whether their children and grandchildren will ever be able to afford a home in the state they love. Those are the issues that matter. Those are the issues I’m running on. And those are the reasons our campaign continues to gain momentum. Becoming governor is not a promotion for me. It’s an act of service. And if the people of Colorado entrust me with that responsibility, I’ll spend every day fighting for them.

Colorado deserves a governor who can’t be bought, won’t be intimidated, and refuses to play politics the way it’s always been done. When my bride and I prayed about where we could make the greatest impact, we made a decision: go ALL IN. Emotionally. Spiritually. Financially. Mentally. Physically. We drained our 401(k)s. We cashed out a life-insurance policy. We’ve traveled thousands of miles and will travel tens of thousands more across this beautiful state for the next 11 months because Coloradans deserve to meet face-to-face with those who govern this state. Every day, we hear the same thing from families, small business owners, and working Coloradans: “Life is harder than it used to be. Costs are up. Opportunity is shrinking. And the people in charge stopped listening.” It doesn’t matter your age, background, income, beliefs, or where you live—every Coloradan is being hurt by policies that push the American Dream further out of reach. But it doesn’t have to stay this way. Colorado is not beyond saving. When good people choose courage over comfort and decide to stand up, we can rebuild a state that our children and grandchildren will be proud to inherit. Join me by going to

So I’ll let history speak, straight from a first edition, over 100-year-old book in my library, The Strenuous Life by Theodore Roosevelt: “…which marks the completion by Colorado of her first quarter century of Statehood, is of interest not only to her sister States of the Rocky Mountain region, but to our whole country. With the exception of the admission to Statehood of California, no other event emphasized in such dramatic fashion the full meaning of the growth of our country as did the incoming of Colorado. The westward spread of our people across this continent has been so rapid, and so great has been their success in taming the rugged wilderness, turning the gray desert into green fertility, and filling the waste and lonely places with the eager, thronging, crowded life of our industrial civilization… The youngest and the oldest States stand on an exact level in one indissoluble and perpetual Union.” Colorado wasn’t built by men chasing titles and trading away their integrity. It was built by men and women of grit, strength, and conviction on equal footing. And it’s time we got back to that. That’s worth remembering. Victor Marx

I’m not running against anyone. I’m running FOR Colorado. Right now, it’s not affordable. It’s not safe. Families are leaving. Families who’ve been here for generations. One party rule has taken us in the wrong direction. And people know it. Everywhere I go, I hear the same thing… We need change. Colorado can work again, but only if we get government out of the way.
