Andrew has been using his white cane to get around independently all his life. He can now no longer get the bus to Chiswick High Road to shop at M&S because of a two-way bike track running through his bus stop. All the major UK blind persons’ charities want to see a halt to this.

In a deeply cynical letter to the Times Chris_Boardman says blind people should be able travel independently and be involved in designing floating bus stops. He knows they have been involved from 2013, telling the authorities endlessly that blind people would be excluded from their bus services. All the major blind persons charities are saying the same. Whaaaat! In which Simon Munk of London Cycling Campaign excuses cyclists of the criminal offence of running a red light by telling ITV London that “in fact pedestrians are actually…slightly worsely behaved”. Can we have an apology from London Cycling Campaign?
