This is a new low, even by political standards. Very sorry that the discourse has reached such low standards, talking about wives. No amount of whataboutery from BJP and Annamalai supporters can justify this kind of comparison from a party’s state leadership.

What a loss! My dear friend, my brother, you’re gone too soon. I first met you in 2017 at an awards function where you gave me an award. We took some photos together along with Ambica mam. Then in 2020, we acted together in Director Suseenthiran’s Eswaran. You shared so many laughs, such a gentle soul you were, you even shared details about actor Babu who was injured in appa’s film shoot. Since then, you were the one person who were always at the end of a phone call at any time. You always texted back. You were present for all your friends. Recently, I was sharing this particular song on Instagram multiple times. People only had good things to say of you. This is just not the age to go. Goodbye, my friend. In tears.

இவ்வருட பொங்கலின்போது, மாலை நான்கு மணியளவில், மயிலாப்பூர் தொகுதி வார்டு 126 வட்டச்செயலாளர் திரு கண்ணன் அவர்கள் அன்று நடக்கவிருந்த திராவிடப்பொங்கல் விழாவிற்கு என்னை அழைத்தார். திராவிடப்பொங்கல் என்ற தலைப்பில் இரண்டு வார்த்தைகள் பேசவேண்டும் என்றும் கேட்டுக்கொண்டார். எவ்வித முன்னேற்பாடுமின்றி அன்று பேசியது - இன்றுதான் இந்தக்காணொலியை எனக்கு வேறொரு நண்பர் அனுப்பிவைத்தார். இதைப்பதிவிட்டு வெளியிட்ட நீர்த்திரைக்கு நன்றிகள்.
