Today we just installed the fourth CNC machine on our shop floor which was built entirely in-house. If we hadn’t invested years into R&D and machine development, we’d still be importing this equipment and sending thousands of dollars out of the country for the same capability. Today, for this particular capacity, we operate more machines of our own design than imported ones. That shift wasn’t overnight and it didn’t come cheap. But it was worth it. Many more to come.

A lot of you are thinking that the spring which we will supply to Prakash Dadlani will be produced at the speed of 1304 ppm. That’s not true. All springs are not made on one kind of machine. The CNC machine we built that produces springs up to 1304 ppm manufactures compression springs. Whereas, the springs for Prakash bhai will be made on one of our 12-axis CNC wire forming machine. And on this the speed is much slower but it has flexibility to produce a number of different kinds of springs and wire forms. The design, type, materials, wire diameter and profile, features and precision of the springs defines what kind of machine will be used. It’s not one machine that does it all. This video is of that springs being manufactured on our other CNC machine. Also, the operator is setting the spring up that is why he is using his hands. Once it’s in production, there’s a crate underneath the machine for the springs.

We have breached the 1000 pcs/minute mark on our CNC spring coiler! Ours is now the fastest CNC spring machine in the country built by an Indian company. This machine is now comparable to speeds and precision of global benchmarks from Germany and Japan of this category. This was a long time coming. We started at a mere 200 pcs/minute. It took us four years of R&D to get here but we finally made it. Also, this machine can go faster. This is not even its full potential. Proudly built in Bharat 🇮🇳

Here’s a video of a German machine which is supposed to be the gold standard in this field and the performance benchmark for everyone. Just FYI, this german company is over 130 years old. And this machine would be a minimum 10-12 times the cost of our machine. Their speeds seem to be very similar to our machine, if not lower. Please don’t comment on the aesthetics, we’re well aware. We’re not anywhere near the scale at which this company operates and has resources. We, on the other hand had designed, developed, manufactured and tested our machine from scratch with a team of three people (including myself).

We achieved this feat without a thorough redesign of the entire machine. All springs you see here are in the tolerance of +/- 0.1 mm It was already the fastest in the country. We just dialled it up a notch. This is now one of the fastest CNC spring coiler in the world, if not the fastest. Investing in R&D pays. Designed and built in Bharat 🇮🇳

This is Ducati’s Desmodromic valve system. This one does not require springs, unlike conventional engines. It is great for performance (which this engine is built for) but it requires a valve adjustment every 30,000 Km. Ducati owners dread this service.

We need more companies in the industry where TSMC and Samsung basically dominates.
