I’m happy to announce that the newest CNC machine that we built in our facility has broken our previous record of 779 pcs/minute. Our fourth and the latest machine is now manufacturing precision springs at 882 pcs/minute. If only I could tell you the amount of mechanical precision the components require to achieve this feat. Onwards and upwards! 🚀

We have breached the 1000 pcs/minute mark on our CNC spring coiler! Ours is now the fastest CNC spring machine in the country built by an Indian company. This machine is now comparable to speeds and precision of global benchmarks from Germany and Japan of this category. This was a long time coming. We started at a mere 200 pcs/minute. It took us four years of R&D to get here but we finally made it. Also, this machine can go faster. This is not even its full potential. Proudly built in Bharat 🇮🇳

We built this in India! 🇮🇳 Earlier we made this spring on our imported CNC machines at a measly 124 pcs/min. Our machine which we designed and built ourselves just smashed it with 340 pcs/min. A whopping 174% increase in speed and capacity! Who said we can’t compete globally?

Just two months ago, we were on the verge of letting go of a customer that we had been serving for more than two years. The prices were super competitive as they were procuring these springs from China. According to our cost calculations, we would have to sell them these springs at our breakeven price point. We would not be making any profit from their orders. The volumes were huge and we decided to take up the challenge. In manufacturing, one of the very important metric that your product cost depends on is cycle time. The speed at which we are able to process that part within the desired tolerance. Higher the speed at which you can manufacture, lower the cost of making that component. We could only manage 150 pcs/minute on our imported machines. At this speed, it was unviable for us. It would only make sense for us to continue if we were somehow able to manufacture this spring at a minimum of 200 pcs/minute. We were far apart and it seemed we wouldn’t be able to reach that goal. We were on the verge of giving up after two years of persistent effort in increasing our speed. Today, we manufactured that same spring on the CNC machines that we built in-house at a whopping 220 pcs/minute! We went from almost letting go off that customer to now asking that very same customer to increase our order volumes! First video is our imported machine at 150 pcs/minute. The second video is our in-house machine at 220 pcs/minute.

Today we signed an MoU with Omron, one of the largest medical electronics equipment manufacturers in the world. Under this, Omron will set up its first medical diagnostics devices manufacturing unit in India. This is an another feather in the cap for our State, in attracting niche international manufacturing industries. We will Make in Tamil Nadu for India and the World, in our journey towards transforming Tamil Nadu into the manufacturing powerhouse of Asia!

3 hours drive from us, war is still being fought. Today Palmyra was bombed and 68 people are dead. No one counts the animals. Because we are not under bombing in Idlib, people have stopped donating and we are facing a huge crisis in our funding. There is no improvement in the lives of the animals in Syria, and without funding we aren't able to help them anymore. We cannot send our mobile clinics out, because we have no funding. We cannot feed street animals because we can't afford to. We cannot send out rescue teams. We have lower donations now than we have ever had and our essential costs are the same now as they were before December 8th when the regime fell. Please, please will you reconsider reinstating your cancelled donations and giving us your support again? Without you we cannot help any of the ones who desperately need our aid. Soon we may need to reconsider our mission in Syria. We have always shared our good and bad news with you. Just now, our options are slowly disappearing.

A very common question asked is “Are Atomberg products made in India” The answer is yes. 99 percent of our products are designed and developed in India. 95 percent of our products are manufactured in India. We have one of the largest manufacturing setups of our industry in Chakan The remaining 1 percent ( because of pilot launches/less scale) aren’t manufactured in India But the moment we reach some scale, we localise manufacturing. Good examples of this in last year are exhaust fans and pedestal fans
