Look at this guy walking around Jantar Mantar with a press card around his neck and a microphone in his hand, supposedly covering the protest. But instead of reporting what is happening, he is mocking the police. He is saying that he is not being allowed to protest and that he wants to protest. He has forgotten one thing, he is here as a journalist, not as a protester. This is exactly how some people are using press cards as a shield, a way to protect themselves from police action. Once they have that shield, they feel free to say whatever they want. They are not there to report the event. They are there to push their personal views and political agenda under the label of journalism.

Her profile features numerous videos against the BJP, she is invited to cover Rahul Gandhi’s 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' programme, where she takes on the role of a journalist and receives a media pass. When I emailed her with an offer to create political content for the SP, she quoted ₹50,000 for a single reel. The issue isn’t that content creators are charging money to make videos. but Why pretend to be neutral and independent while blurring the line between journalism and paid political promotion? 4/

Watch both of these videos. During the protest at Jantar Mantar, Nishu Azad’s father, Sanjay Kumar, was recording a video of Swatantra Bhardwaj and his friend on his mobile phone. Swatantra objected and struck the phone. CJP workers and Sanjay then attacked Swatantra, knocked him to the ground and beat him. During the scuffle, Swatantra raised his hand, and the Kada he was wearing struck Sanjay on the head. This can be seen at the 12-second mark in the second video.
