No need to play the victim card now. Your protest openly featured obscene and abusive slogans. There were calls to blow up Parliament, threats to shoot Prime Minister Modi, and disgusting abuse directed at him, his mother, his family. Even a foreign woman head of government wasn't spared. Your protest also saw people hurling vile abuse at the Indian Army. Didn't you see those videos either? When people objected to those slogans and threats, your close associate Saurabh Das dismissed them as 'just a joke in a democracy.' So if it was all 'just a joke' back then, perhaps you should be willing to take a joke now too.

This is not a video of any protest in Nashik. It is from the famous Jamboo Savari procession during the Mysore Dasara festival in Karnataka. Cockroach is Back Abhijeet Dipke shared an edited version of the video. In the original footage, elephants are clearly visible at the end. During the procession, the central decorated elephant carries the idol of Goddess Chamundeshwari in a 750 kg Golden Howdah. The Jamboo Savari tradition dates back to 1610, during the reign of Raja Wadiyar I, and has been held every year on Vijayadashami for over 400 years.

Google Reverse Image Search doesn’t work the way you might think. When you search a viral image, the results may show an old date under the image. That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the actual date of the photo. This happens because the image might have been used in another article. To find the real source, you need to click on the link in the results and check the page itself. For example, when I reverse-searched this photo, one result showed the date March 4, 2026 under the image. But when I clicked the article, Benjamin Netanyahu’s photo wasn’t there. Similarly, another result showed October 11, 2022, but clicking the link revealed that the photo wasn’t in that article either. Here’s another example, one result showed February 28, 2026, but clicking the article opened a March 17, 2026 post, and there the same image appeared.
