I am honored to officially announce my candidacy to serve as the next Governor of Ohio.

Independent estimates indicate $1.1 trillion (yes, *trillion*) in improper Medicaid payments over the last decade. In Ohio, Medicaid enrollment increased from 2.9 to 3 million, while Medicaid spending ballooned from $27 to $47 billion. That’s unacceptable.

President Trump said it well last night: to be a good American President, you have to actually love Americans.

The most reasonable objection to my plan to combat Medicaid fraud in Ohio is that it isn’t big enough to move the needle on lowering healthcare costs overall. Here’s why that view is wrong: we’re going to deliver billions in direct savings & lower pricing pressure at the same time.

Combating Medicaid fraud &amp; return billions in savings to law-abiding Ohioans is practical, impactful, and rapidly achievable - in contrast to the socialist takeover of healthcare that my leftist opponent is trying to push onto Ohioans.

A Pennsylvania voter wearing a “Trump 2024” hat asked me to make the case for voting for Trump. To opponents, I usually cite the border, economy, and avoiding war. But I gave this young man the deeper answer: it’s about reviving our national self-confidence.

America’s 250th anniversary is on July 4, 2026. DOGE will deliver our nation the birthday gift of a government that’s actually accountable to its people, rather than the other way around.
