Japan – Noticed a few things on the way to a meeting in Tokyo: ✅ No congestion or long halts even during peak hours, perfectly managed traffic. ✅ Cars over 20 years old are scratchless and look brand new; new car purchases are generally discouraged as per our guide. ✅ Every market has a multi-storey parking lot nearby, so no unnecessary road blocking by parked bikes or cars. ✅ No signboards, political posters, or ads on lamp posts and roadsides. This pricing from Hyundai is crazy! ✅ Creta Turbo Manual (N-Line) - ₹19L ✅ Alcazar Turbo Manual (Executive) - ₹14.49L Both get the same 1.5 Turbo Petrol engine with 253 Nm torque. But Alcazar gives you: • 5+2 seating • Much more space • 3-row AC vents • 4 disc brakes • Cruise control • Digital cockpit • Alloy wheels • LED headlamps • 6 airbags All for ₹4.5L For someone with 50:50 or 60:40 usage, Alcazar Executive is probably one of the most underrated value picks today from Hyundai’s stable. Must check if you are looking for performance, practicality, support and reliability as a package. Much better than buying a Creta and Seltos or Hyryder/GV in MT with Naturally Aspirated Petrol with 144 nm torque for highways where we need torque for overtakes and smooth driving with full load. Most buyers simply don’t notice this variant because in the showroom they look nothing else than Creta 😉

Opinion: Tata is trying its best to raise the aspirational level of the Punch with this facelift, leaving no stone unturned to showcase its strengths. Brave of them to try this on a B2 segment car & I don’t think any competitor will try doing that.

First impressions for Honda City 2026 and ZR-V (Hybrid) Honda City with 4 cylinder Hybrid and 250+ nm torque is extremely VFM with a claimed FE of 27 km/l. Excellent, if your running is above 1500 km and you want premium interiors, features and fine dynamics too. It isn’t expensive when you will notice top variant pricing of 3 cyl Hybrid Hyryder / GV / Victoris. The tech & feel of the car is superior.
