افغان دفاعی فورسز جنگ سے کامیاب واپسی کے بعد ننگرہار کے ضلع بہسود میں اُس خاندان اور کمسن بچے سے ملنے گئے، جن کے خاندان کے تقریباً تمام افراد شہید ہو گئے تھے۔ دفاعی فورسز نے اُس بچے اور خاندان کو جوابی کارروائیوں کی کامیابی اور بدلہ لینے پر مبارکباد دی۔

A Pakistani religious scholar says: I had been detained by the Pakistani Army and the intelligence services; there were other religious scholars imprisoned there as well. I swear to God that, because of the many atrocities and tortures committed by the army and intelligence, we all used to pray: O Allah, bring Hindu rule to this country, so that we might be freed from the cruelty and torture of this wretched army. The scholar adds that he stands by these words even if the army were to kill him for speaking these truths.
