$HOOD just unveiled Robinhood Agents, built directly into the app. You can use one to research the market, build a strategy, and place trades within limits you set. Each agent only gets access to a dedicated agentic trading account, and manual trade approval is on by default. Robinhood says 150,000+ customers have already opened agentic trading accounts, with agents now using its tools nearly 30 million times a day. Coming next is “Loops,” which can keep checking the market and run a strategy automatically when certain conditions are met. Robinhood is also adding Agent Apps, so users can plug in premium data and tools from Nasdaq, Unusual Whales, SpotGamma, Quiver Quantitative, Token Terminal and others. You can also use OpenAI’s GPT-Luna for free through the end of the year.

$GOOGL JUST PUT ITS AI CHIPS INTO ORBIT FOR THE FIRST TIME Google and Planet Labs $PL have successfully launched Project Suncatcher M1 aboard SpaceX’s Transporter-18 mission. Planet says it has already made contact with the spacecraft and begun commissioning. This is the first-ever in-orbit test of Google’s Tensor Processing Units, or TPUs. The refrigerator-sized prototype carries four Trillium TPUs, Google’s custom AI accelerators. This is not yet an orbital data center. The goal is to see whether the same type of AI hardware Google uses on Earth can survive launch and reliably run machine-learning workloads in low Earth orbit. There are three major engineering problems Google is testing: RADIATION: cosmic radiation can corrupt calculations or damage electronics. Google previously tested Trillium TPUs with proton radiation and found they could withstand more total radiation than expected over a five-year mission. COOLING: there is no air in space, so fans cannot cool the chips. Heat has to be moved through heat pipes into radiators and then emitted away from the spacecraft. The current prototype is expected to run AI workloads in roughly 15-minute bursts before allowing the system to cool. NETWORKING: Google’s long-term plan is not one satellite, but clusters of satellites carrying dozens of TPUs each and connected through high-speed laser links. Google estimates future AI workloads could require tens of terabits per second between satellites. Its ground prototype has already demonstrated 800 Gbps in each direction. Why put AI compute in space at all? In the right low-Earth orbit, solar panels can generate up to 8x more power than on Earth because satellites can receive near-continuous sunlight, reducing one of the biggest constraints facing AI data centers: electricity. The economics: Google estimates that if launch costs eventually fall below roughly $200 per kilogram by the mid-2030s, the cost of operating compute in space could begin approaching the energy cost of comparable terrestrial data centers.

OKAY, THIS IS THE KIND OF THING I’D WANT AI TO HANDLE FOR ME! Ethmos is launching research agents that track the companies you follow and find their executives on podcasts, including smaller shows you might never come across. You get a brief each morning with the key points and links to the episodes. So beyond earnings calls, you have more conversations to dig into and learn from, without having to find them all yourself.

$META LAUNCHES MUSE PERSONAL AI AGENT Meta is rolling out Muse, a personal AI agent that can take actions across apps and the web, including sending emails, booking travel, filling out forms and making purchases with user approval. Muse runs on Meta’s new Muse Secure VM, giving each user a dedicated cloud environment with a separate Sentinel agent that reviews actions before they reach the internet. The agent can keep working after the app is closed, remember user preferences and proactively advance longer-term tasks. Stripe’s Link is built in for checkout, with Shop Pay and 1Password support coming later. Muse launches in the U.S. on iOS, Android and the web, with free and paid tiers, and support for AI glasses coming soon.

OPENAI LAUNCHES DOTS, ALWAYS-ON AI AGENTS INSIDE CHATGPT OpenAI is rolling out Dots, a new type of agent powered by GPT-6 Astra that can keep working for you in the background, even between conversations. Each Dot gets its own cloud computer and browser, can connect to thousands of apps, remember ongoing context, run scheduled tasks and bring results back for review. Users can also set rules around what the agent can do automatically versus what needs approval. OpenAI says Dots can research, review calendars, work across connected apps and continue making progress without needing a new prompt every time. Dots are starting to roll out to Pro users today, with Business Premium support and an Enterprise beta as well. OpenAI says usage won’t count against eligible plan allowances for the next month. Users start with a primary Dot, and OpenAI says the longer-term plan is to let people create entire teams of them.
