Hysterical. Rod Brind'Amour said he didn't really have any input on the team not touching the trophy. Then, he told on himself. 😅 "I had a couple of guys ask me what I thought, and I said, 'You do what you want.. but don't touch it.'"

Rod Brind'Amour didn't have an official update on Taylor Hall (upper-body injury) post-game, but said, "That doesn't look good either." We don't know if he was banged up here specifically, but the broadcast did highlight this first-period hit later in the evening.

Taylor Hall lays a massive hit on Roope Hintz. After review, it's two minutes for charging.

Vincent Trocheck, meet Alexander Nikishin. Another reverse boom! 💥

Stormy just performed a skit from The Nutcracker during the TV timeout, and then the in-house production team showed Brad Marchand on the jumbotron, who was met with loud boos. As expected, #63 leaned into it. Hilarious.

Ouch. Rod Brind'Amour tells the broadcast post-game that he expects both William Carrier and Eric Robinson to be out for an extended period. Nothing definitive regarding K'Andre Miller, but "that could be a while" too.

Obviously, a lot of what we just witnessed can be described as "unbelievable." But, man, Sebastian Aho's setup to Taylor Hall on the second #Canes goal? Sheesh.

"We're not backing down from anyone, and we're ready to roll." Jordan Staal joined ESPN during the first intermission, after dropping the gloves with Brady Tkachuk right off the opening faceoff.

A Stanley Cup Storm Surge? You bet! 💍

The whole sequence leading to Alexander Nikishin's goal. That's a wonderful outside-in move, followed by a shot that couldn't have been placed much better.

Nikolaj Ehlers is the Game 2 hero! 🙌

You've got to see this at full speed to really appreciate it. No lack of confidence from the kid playing in his ninth career NHL game.

The #Canes’ business staff is gathering and ready to roll. Where are you? Drop your locations below ⤵️

The ultimate leaders. Rod Brind'Amour and Jordan Staal.

BOOM! Ladies and gentlemen, Alexander Nikishin.

Seth Jarvis is such a complete player. Walks right by Carson Soucy like it's nothing to create a scoring chance, then tracks back to strip Alexis Lafrenière, who was going the other way.

The #Canes look at morning skate: Puljujarvi - Aho - Jarvis Teravainen - Kotkaniemi - Necas Martinook - Staal - Fast Stepan - Drury - Noesen Slavin - Burns Skjei - Pesce Gostisbehere - Coghlan Andersen in the starter’s crease.

Mark Jankowski struck for a career-best fourth consecutive contest last night. The 32-year-old boasts more goals (4) through the first seven games of this season than he has ever had points during that span in any other campaign.

Well, well, well… Seth Jarvis (offseason shoulder surgery) is in a regular practice jersey at morning skate for the #Canes. It is the first time we have seen him not in yellow. He’s working as an extra to start the day, so he’s not ready to return yet, but still a great sign.

Seth Jarvis is the Game 2 hero! 👏

Rod Brind'Amour was asked about facing the Flyers and their notoriously tough fanbase - something he knows well. He quickly corrected, "Fair (fanbase)." "If you put in a good effort, (the love) is there for you. If you're not, they let you know about it..."

Please quiet down everyone, Mr. Deslauriers has an announcement to make… 🤫😅

We will not forget the play Jaccob Slavin made to keep the game tied in the third period 🫡

You could hear Seth yell right away, and Sebastian Aho was calling for Head Athletic Trainer Doug Bennett immediately. Hoping for the best. 🤞

Come for Jackson Blake's toe drag, stay for Taylor Hall's smile. What a sweet goal. 🍭

A finish you have to see to believe. 🤯 Felix Unger Sorum completes a five-goal comeback and gets the win for the #Canes.

Lord Stanley has arrived at Teets 🍻

Rod Brind'Amour was asked about today's news shared by Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman. "We're all human... We're all coming around to (mental health awareness) as a league. That's something that we have to take a lot of care in and understanding."

The Flyers are angry and trying to mix it up late. K'Andre Miller and Mark Jankowski are laughing.

Charles Alexis Legault starts the Prospect Showcase with a bang! 💥

Sebastian Aho has: • A six-game point streak • Six goals already this season • 11 points in seven games total 🔥🔥🔥

You've got to see it at full speed to really appreciate it. Beautiful.

Key's got it on lock 🔑🔒

Poetry in motion. 🎥

The #Canes' head coach was asked about this exchange today. "You could hear the crowd was appreciative of their effort... I was happy for (Rick Tocchet) for doing that, and those people. That's a great hockey town."

Nikolaj Ehlers has to be helped off the ice after getting tangled up with Erik Karlsson in the corner.
