RWENZORI MARATHON 2027 TORONTO MARATHON UGANDA HIGH COMMISSION - CANADA LORRAINE SIMPSON The exhibition booth is set for the Toronto marathon exhibition and we thank God for UGANDA HIGH COMMISSION OTTAWA-CANADA for representing since we aren’t allowed to enter Canada as organizers. Thank you Amb Amb Allan Kajik 🇺🇬 and team for handling stuff without us. LorraineSimpsonglobal and the team will be shining for uganda and like you can see, we are Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon to promote Uganda on big stage. Already some agents in Canada are putting together packages for Canadian runners for 2027 which is great news. We just need to fight negative travel advisories

PARENTING MEN LISTEN For the boy child, you don’t say I want you to go running, you say let’s go run. You don’t say, I want you to cook, you say let’s cook. You don’t say I want you to clean, you say let’s clean. You don’t say wake up early, you say we shall wake up so early tomorrow. It helps them appreciate that men or boys too can cook, can clean, can exercise, can lay beds, clean their toilets.

Back in Kampala and had great weather for today’s morning jog which is nice, arrived my bed 4.30am tired from airport yesterday so couldn’t run. In kasese during the Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon last year, a young man walks to me after the marathon and says, I stayed up last night to observe you. He hardly slept, I saw you pacing around, engaging people, I saw your son too doing stuff. I thought if I was you, I would have just slept. I tell him, the whole team hardly sleeps, reason Uganda has a Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon which attracts people from more than 30 countries. If we sleep the 1000 Kenyans both runners and those who came for fun wouldn’t have come to Uganda. That means the food they ate wouldn’t have been eaten. The cars they hired from Ugandans wouldn’t have been hired, the accommodations they slept in wouldn’t have worked. If each Kenyan spent usd 600, Uganda would have miss the usd 60k earnings from team Kenya. We need 10,000 Ugandans out of 45.9m to do things that can bring in 1000 Kenyans for example and the country would earn usd 6,000,000 Another 10k bringing in 1000 Americans each spending 2k and figures would be crazy, jobs would never be a problem, critical mass issues. Nothing good just happens

Morning Jog today Waited for the rain to stop so I could go for my morning jog but it didn’t! Mentally I can’t stand excuses , so I went all out with a rain jacket. It’s 4 times a week, 40 kilometers a week, almost a full marathon every week.

This is the Hotel we are having our meetings here in ZANZIBAR, massive hotel but no rooms of good quality in radius of over 13kms, FULL FULL One person wrote on one forum saying people everyone have no business, that’s not true. Being here makes one appreciate the fact that others have business and are thriving and we can do the same. We have to here asking questions that are relevant though

Serengeti Baloon company just added to their fleet 26 brand new cars and this is how tourism roles in Tanzania. When there is business, anything is possible , it’s normal for a company to buy 100 brand new safari cars in TZ
