Whoopi Goldberg’s comments reveal everything wrong with identity politics. I didn’t marry my wife because she’s white. She didn’t marry me because I’m Black. We got married because we share the same values, the same faith, and the same vision for raising a family. At no point did marrying a white woman make me less Black. At no point did marrying a Black man make my wife less white. What it made us was a family. The people obsessed with race can’t understand that most Americans don’t choose friends, spouses, or family based on skin color. We choose them based on character, values, and love. The civil rights movement wasn’t about putting race at the center of everything. It was about moving beyond it.

Joy Reid's entire career is built on a lie: that everything in America is about race. I represent a majority-white district in suburban Houston. President Trump would have won it by 20 points. I won it by 27. Why? Because voters judged me by my service, my values, and my record, not the color of my skin. None of that has anything to do with race. And that's what race-baiters like Joy Reid cannot stand. Her worldview depends on minorities being victims, conservatives being villains, and America being irredeemably racist.

My father grew up in the segregated South. He had to walk around to the BACK of a restaurant just to order a sandwich because he was black. THAT was Jim Crow. Not showing a photo ID to vote. You need an ID to: • Board a plane • Cash a check • Buy alcohol • Enter federal buildings But suddenly showing an ID to vote is “racist”? Give me a break. This is not civil rights. This is political theater. The Democrat Party survives by manufacturing grievance because they have nothing else to run on. Comparing voter ID laws to segregation is not just dishonest, it is insulting to the people who actually lived through Jim Crow. Asking Americans to prove they are who they say they are when they cast their vote is called common sense.

Let’s be brutally honest. If Democrats ever retake the United States Senate, the filibuster is gone anyway. Day one. No debate. No hesitation. They will pack the Supreme Court, erase every institutional guardrail, and give a Democrat president everything on their radical wish list to permanently reshape this country. And here’s the unforgivable part: while that threat is staring us in the face, President Trump’s America First agenda is dying right now in the United States Senate. Not because Democrats are stopping it, but because weak Republicans are. Republicans like John Cornyn refuse to fight. Refuse to use power. Refuse to do the very thing voters sent them to Washington to do: win. You don’t save the Republic by protecting Senate traditions while the other side burns them down. You save it by acting. By codifying the America First agenda into law now, while we still can. Texas didn’t send a Senator to Washington to manage decline. We sent one to stop it. If you won’t fight when it matters most, step aside. Texas is ready for leadership that will.

A Democrat congressional candidate refused to say the Pledge of Allegiance and repeatedly turned her back on the American flag at Sacramento City Council meetings. My message for Mai Vang and to anyone who thinks about serving in elected office: That flag is NOT a prop. It represents the sacrifice of generations of Americans who bled, fought, and died so that free people could disagree openly in this country. And the least we can do, the absolute bare minimum, is stand for 30 seconds and say the Pledge of Allegiance. That flag is the one thing that is supposed to unite all of us. So yes, we should say the pledge. In Every committee. Every public meeting. Every generation of Americans has stood up willing to fight and die for that flag. The least we can do is stand up and HONOR it.

Every American should demand fair, secure elections. Without them, we don’t have a country. For years, the left has been playing a dangerous game, trying to redefine voting, reshape representation, and blur the meaning of American citizenship. And when it comes to voter ID? They push the same tired narrative, claiming it’s somehow “unfair” to people of color. That requiring an ID is an obstacle, because we supposedly can’t get one. That’s not compassion. Failed TV host Don Lemon asked me what I tell my kids. Here’s exactly what I tell them: You live in the greatest country on Earth. You are both black and white, which means you carry the strength, history, and legacy of both sides of your family. Your mother and father love you endlessly. And the opportunities you have exist because generations of Americans fought, sacrificed, built, and defended this nation. I do not teach my children victimhood. I do not teach them to hate America. I do not teach them that they are oppressed before they even begin life. I teach them faith, discipline, gratitude, excellence, and personal responsibility. The race-grifting hustle is dead. Americans are exhausted by people who became rich convincing others that this country is evil while enjoying every privilege it offers. I also remember when Eric Swalwell went on this platform and claimed Republicans would outlaw my interracial marriage. Funny how that worked out… Emily and I are still happily married. No mobs showed up. No torches. No pitchforks. But Eric did get politically humiliated and ejected from Congress, because that “paragon of virtue,” never lived by the example he tweeted. Sound familiar, Don? And by the way, Don, since you’re so interested in parenting, what exactly do you tell your kids? Have any?

Another day, another collapsing Democrat narrative. Now we’re being told Joe Biden may have suffered a “stroke,” supposedly explaining what was arguably the most humiliating presidential debate performance in American history. Interesting. Because immediately after President Trump dismantled him on that stage, Jill Biden was out telling the country her husband “answered all the questions” and did a “great job!” So which was it?… Was he sharp and fully capable, as the media insisted for years? Or were Americans watching a man in obvious decline while the press, political operatives, and Democrat leadership gaslit the entire country?

Don Lemon and the race-grifter class still can’t figure out why Black Americans are walking away from the Democrat plantation politics they’ve been selling for decades. Here’s a news flash, Black Americans are not a monolith. We are not owned by a political party. We are not obligated to think alike, vote alike, speak alike, or fall in line every time a washed-up TV activist screams “racism” on cue. Some of us are tired of being talked down to by millionaire elites who got rich convincing us that America is hopelessly evil while they cash checks from gated communities. They told us voter ID was “Jim Crow.” Meanwhile every American needs an ID to drive, fly, bank, buy a home, pick up prescriptions, or get into a federal building. The insult isn’t voter ID, the insult is pretending Black people are somehow incapable of functioning in modern society without Democrat supervision. That’s the soft bigotry of low expectations, and people are done buying it. The left’s entire playbook is built on keeping people angry, divided, and dependent. If you step outside the narrative, suddenly you’re “not really Black,” “dangerous,” or “controversial.” No. What’s controversial is using race as a business model for 20 years while cities run by your ideology collapse into crime, dysfunction, and chaos. Americans are waking up. Merit matters. Freedom matters. Common sense matters. And the race-hustling era is dying right in front of them.

Dr. King dreamed of a nation where we are judged not by the color of our skin, but by the content of our character. I am a living, breathing product of that dream. So is Justice Clarence Thomas. I don’t want anything handed to me because I’m Black. I want to earn it because I’m qualified. I am a Christian, a veteran, a West Point graduate, an Apache pilot, a Congressman, and yes, I am Black and proud. But first and foremost, I am an American. The left wants race-based outcomes. I want every district in America to choose the best person for the job. That is equality. That is merit. That is America.

They call you racist, and think the conversation is over. News flash, this is not 1964 anymore. The American people are a lot smarter than that, and they’re not buying it. Because the reality is, people like me exist. What does that tell you? It tells you this country has made real progress. It tells you that millions of Americans are doing exactly what Martin Luther King Jr. called for, judging people not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. That’s not theory, that’s reality. But instead of celebrating that progress, some want to drag us backwards, into a system where race is everything, where success is assigned, where outcomes are engineered. That’s not empowerment, that’s limitation. The idea that someone can only succeed if a district is drawn for them, or if a box is checked for them, is an insult to the very people it claims to help. Here’s a better idea, be a great candidate. Work hard. Earn trust. Serve people. Put your name on the ballot and let voters decide.

Leader Steve Scalise was shot. President Trump was shot. Then, another attempt was made on his life. Christians are being hunted down in their houses of worship. And now, Charlie Kirk, a father, a husband, a man of God, and a champion for freedom who helped deliver a historic victory for this nation, has been murdered. This wave of political violence sweeping America is evil, un-American, and must end now. No family should endure this, no community should suffer this, and no citizen should fear for their life because of their faith or their convictions. As a father of three, my heart aches for Charlie’s wife and children. I am reminded that life is fragile, sacred, and given to us by God alone.

Try as he might, but James Talarico will NOT reshape Christianity to fit the Left’s ideological agenda. There are core truths within christianity that are non-negotiable. The sanctity of life. The importance of truth. The reality of biological sex. The preservation of the family. These are not fringe beliefs to millions of Christians, they are FOUNDATIONAL. What frustrates many believers is watching people selectively invoke Scripture while simultaneously promoting ideas that directly contradict Biblical teaching. You cannot endlessly redefine morality and then demand that faithful Christians pretend there is no contradiction.

No one has been a fiercer defender of our history than me. When I walked straight into the lion’s den on Real Time with Bill Maher, we had an honest conversation about Robert E. Lee, and rejecting the woke reimagining of our history. By the time it was over, even liberals had to acknowledge the truth. As a West Point graduate who lived in Robert E. Lee Barracks, I bring real perspective. Three West Pointers came from my home. A Black family raised with conservative values, faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and a deep commitment to service. Service is in our blood. Respect for American values is in our character. Rejecting the institutional destruction pushed by the radical left has always been my mission, and it always will be.

Let me say this clearly. Gavin Newsom stood in front of a room full of Black voters and tried to say, “I’m like you… I had a 960 SAT.” No, Gavin. You’re not like me. I studied my butt off to get where I am. Under no circumstances are you going to belittle us by implying that all Black people have a 960 SAT and can barely read. That’s not empathy. That’s insult disguised as relatability. I had parents who believed in education. We had a sign in our house that said: “Jesus + Education = Success.” And we meant it. There’s a reason I earned three master’s degrees in four years from Cornell. My brother graduated from Harvard Business School. My sister earned her master’s in Applied Mathematics and taught at West Point while my brother and I were cadets. And yes, we were Black the entire time we were doing it. So when you suggest I “can’t read” or reduce us to a test score, what you’re really saying is that you think we’re all the same. That we’re a monolith. That this is how you see us. That is how the Democrat party sees us. I remember Hillary Clinton carrying hot sauce in her purse. I remember Joe Biden saying, “If you don’t vote for me, then you ain’t Black.” I remember Kathy Hochul claiming Black kids don’t even know what a computer is. We have an opportunity as a party, and as a country to elevate voices that the Democrat party pretends doesn’t exist - utterly destroying the race narratives they use as political strategy. It’s why I’m here. We do exist, and we reject the bigotry of the Left.

You will NOT gaslight your way out of this. NOT this time. The Democrat Party must finally look in the mirror, condemn the political violence they’ve unleashed, and apologize for poisoning an entire generation into believing conservatives are “fascist threats” to democracy. Tyler Robinson got on that roof, took aim, and assassinated Charlie Kirk, because their propaganda worked.
