Anthropic is preparing to launch a new feature called "Orbit" for its Claude Cowork platform, potentially debuting at the upcoming Code with Claude conference in San Francisco. The hidden developer gate for this feature is reportedly named "tibro enabled" ("orbit" spelled backwards). Orbit is designed as a "proactive assistant" that connects directly with workplace applications like Gmail, Slack, GitHub, Google Calendar, Drive, and Figma. Rather than waiting for manual prompts, it aims to proactively generate daily briefings, insights, and suggested actions.

Anthropic has introduced an update to Claude Managed Agents, releasing several powerful new features designed to improve agentic workflows and autonomy. 🔹Dreaming (Research Preview): Agents can now "dream" by reviewing past sessions during idle time. This process extracts patterns, spots recurring mistakes, and curates memories so the agent continually learns and improves over time without human intervention. 🔹Outcomes (Public Beta): This feature allows developers to set a specific quality bar by writing a rubric. A separate grader agent then evaluates the output, forcing the primary agent to iterate on the work until it meets the defined success criteria. 🔹Multiagent Orchestration (Public Beta): A lead agent can now break down complex jobs and delegate specific tasks to specialized sub-agents, which work in parallel to execute the broader objective. 🔹Webhooks (Public Beta): Users can subscribe to webhooks to receive automatic notifications the moment an agentic task is completed.

China has successfully launched the world's first commercial underwater data center. China's underwater data center in Hainan Province currently the only operational commercial facility of its kind in the world, has evolved to handle high-density AI computing. Key details include: 🔹Originally deployed in 2022, the facility has been expanded with new modules specifically designed for demanding AI training and cloud services. 🔹By sitting on the seabed, the sealed capsules utilize seawater for natural cooling, eliminating the need for energy-intensive air conditioning and saving massive amounts of freshwater and land. 🔹While it solves land and energy issues, researchers warn of potential risks to marine biodiversity, including local water warming and ocean deoxygenation. 🔹A second underwater data center is currently under construction near Shanghai.
