Do Teslas drive well in the snow? I recorded Chris driving our AWD 2023 Model Y on these snow/ice covered roads. His goal was to try and spin out, lose control etc. It was difficult to accomplish for 3 reasons: 1. Traction Contol: Tesla's TC system detects and adjusts wheel slips instantly. Corrections are made before you even knew you needed one. 2. Even weight distribution: the battery pack is distributed across the base of the car, balancing the weight across the front and the rear. The result is you feeling stabilized and more in control. 3. Tires: Throw winter tires on for an even better snow driving experience. Video clips 1 and 4 are with winter tires, clips 2 and 3 are all seasons. Both had great results because of the reasons listed above, but in bad road conditions, winter tires will certainly give you an advantage. Happy snow driving, Tesla peeps! ✌️

As I was leaving the Post Office, this driver came towards me in the parking lot. FSD 13.2 was like "forget this" and plowed on through. It was sooooo close to the tailgate of that truck, so I took over. V13 was a little too confident for me this time. The visualization doesn't even indicate that it could see the tailgate open. Do you think it would have hit it? Also, notice at the end that it changed its mind about the route and navigated a little bit differently.

We just got about 5 inches of snow. I tried FSD v13.2.7 on this unplowed, gravel road. It did absolutely fine and requested no intervention from me. At one point, it started to veer to the right into the deeper snow. Traction control kicked in and the car moved back to the middle of the road.

I was going through my piano bench and found "Clair de Lune." After my beloved piano teacher told me she was quitting when I was 13 years old, I begged her to teach me this as our last song, even though it was too advanced for me. She agreed and we worked vigorously on it for our final 8 weeks together. I've played it here and there throughout the years, but it had been a while. Tonight, I opened it up, sat down to play, and smiled as my fingers magically knew their place as if I'd played it just yesterday. It was far from perfect, but brought back so many great memories. I read the notes penciled in by my teacher across the music and could almost hear her voice in my head. Music connects us in beautiful ways. Debussy is one of my favorite composers. Considered a radical for his time, he broke all the rules of composition by using the sustain pedal to let the notes overlap, flowing into one another. In my opinion, "Clair de Lune" (translated as "Moonlight") is one of the most romantic piano songs that exists.
