Being an indie game dev is like doing 25 jobs at once. I'm an artist, a voice actor, a SFX designer, a trailer editor, a social media manager, a producer and a QA tester. When I worked in AAA I would spend a week making 2 assets, both of which would probably end up getting cut from the game. This is why indie is the GOAT and AAA is dying a slow painful death.

You spend multiple months building a game, but there's always a point where you can suddenly get lost in your own world and you finally see it from the perspective of a new player. I don't know if people know just how valuable retweeting indie developers is. It can add 100s of wishlists to an indie game - which can accumulate to mean the difference between a developer being able to finish a game and forcing them back into a 9 to 5 job. Just want to say a huge thank you to all 900 of my followers, most of you joining us in the last couple of weeks. We appreciate you and can't wait for you to try A Short Quest!

Still can't believe this happened to our indie game... We're just a 2 man team, this was by far the most life changing moment of our game dev careers so far. Asmongold pushed us over 10k wishlists, now we've got our sights on 20 and with some luck and the algorithm blessing us we'll get there!
