Stephen Miller is 100% right here The high culture that made the West so superior to everywhere else on Earth only came because Western Europe executed ~1% of each generation for centuries In weeding the crime gene out of the population through centuries of capital punishment for everything from larceny to murder, Western Europe made itself a paradise, and blossomed into the greatest high civilization the world has ever seen over the 18th and 19th centuries So, as he said, "The West only achieved the place that it did in human history because it spent previous centuries eradicating the criminal elements within it’s territories. The West that we came to know that had the great music and architecture and science and the most powerful economy had spent centuries previous to that establishing order first." That is 100% true. High civilization requires order, and requires the pruning of the tree of civilization to achieve it

"Yes, I'm fighting to preserve a way of life, to maintain a home, to live in this country generally, under what I consider to be an acceptable system, which is basically Christian and capitalistic. "If the rest of Africa is an example of the alternatives to this particular system, and if that is what communism represents in general, then I'm going to be against it ...until the day I finally go."

This is a very interesting, important video because it shows why Rhodesia was, despite being free and prosperous, not allowed to survive: Its voting system was inegalitarian in a way Western regimes couldn't allow to survive; it emphasized stewardship, not just existence🧵👇

Many thanks to Matt Walsh for the many shoutouts from my recent article on the John Brown Left and its intentions (murdering us) in his episode today! Man was that cool to hear, and hopefully it gets people reading the work of Virginius Dabney! A Disease in the Public Mind by Fleming is another great source on this issue

In this great speech, Prime Minister Ian Smith calls out the perfidy and treason of the Western powers who betrayed Rhodesia to the communist wolves: "Those countries with which we stood and fought in 1940 have turned against us and sided with the pack of communists, in spite of the fact that we are standing and fighting today for those same ideals, the same principles as did the allied armies in 1940 in the words of Winston Churchill, we too are fighting to protect Christian civilization, to preserve life, freedom, honor and we are waging a war against indiscriminate killing of civilians, women and children, in an attempt to terrorize our people into surrender." The betrayal of Rhodesia was one of the greatest crimes of the Twentieth Century, an explicit attempt to advance the borders of communism abroad because doing so was more convenient than standing up for hierarchy, tradition, and excellence against the advancing hordes of equity. It was truly despicable, and marks the moment the West truly died. We have not recovered, for this sin sits heavy upon us and we are following in the footsteps of the fate we inflicted upon the Rhodesians out of cowardice, fear, and the ideology of equality

What separated Rhodesia from the rest of the West? One key matter: it focused on excellence in an age when all others transitioned to ruthless egalitarianism As Ian Smith put it in the clip below, “We simply have a standard” That standard is what made the West great 🧵👇

This just gets more impressive: Trump, calling out the farm murders the ANC has aided and abetted: “Look! Death. Death. Death. Horrible death. Death.” Then, noting that the ANC has allowed the calls for genocide to grow as that horrid action has been carried out: “Why don’t you arrest those calling for genocide?!” America has aided that genocide for the longest time. "We" ensured, via an embargo passed by Congress, that Rhodesia and South Africa fell to the race communists In rejecting that, Trump is rejecting decades of policy inflicted upon white Africans by Democratic and Republican presidents alike

I'm excited to announce a new project: The Old World Show, where I'll tell the tales of the great adventurers and families of the world that used to exist, from the First Families of Virginia and British peerage to the men who made the empire! This is episode 1, about Sir James Brooke, the White Rajah of Sarawak. In it, I tell his story from the time of his birth in the glorious Raj of the East India Company to his privately funded and high-stakes battle against poison blow-dart-wielding headhunters in the steaming jungles of Borneo to become a Rajah, a feat never equalled by any other European. It’s an exciting tale of stormed barricades, gunboat diplomacy with a private yacht, and bravery in the face of immense adversity. This will mainly be posted to other platforms, where I'm setting up the channels under the name The Old World Show (check it out!). But, I wanted to share the first episode here so you can check it out! What six books should you read for an alternative look at history? I'm known for my alternative views on history, particularly on Rhodesia, so what books do I recommend to start learning the tragic history of the past few centuries in a similar way I'll show you in the 🧵👇
