The Vikings' O-line gave Kyler Murray almost seven seconds to throw on this 32-yarder to Jeshaun Jones. Look at LG Joe Huber helping out his left tackle.

Kyler Murray on the Vikings' final two possessions: 13 for 14, 120 yards, no sacks.

Jalen Redmond's 91.0 PFF run defense grade leads all NFL defensive tackles. Plays like these are why:

This is the Kyler Murray we've been waiting to see. Also, what a game for T.J. Hockenson. 11 for 106.

Vikings have caught some massive breaks today by a matter of inches. 1) Chis Bell's foot barely out of bounds on long TD 2) Ivan Pace Jr. grazes punt, negating roughing flag 3) Blake Cashman's fingertip saves long Gordon TD ⬇️

3rd and 9 in the first quarter. First read is Jefferson, who is open by NFL standards. McCarthy then progresses to the backside and has Addison wide open, but chooses to get Hockenson lit up on the checkdown instead.

Another sack on third down. Is there a layered/anticipatory throw to be made to Addison on the dig?

Jake Golday (41) blitzing off the edge and then recovering to chase down the scrambling QB. He's been impressive in both preseason games.

Kevin O'Connell mentioned today that a couple of J.J. McCarthy's tipped balls would've led to an explosive play and a touchdown to Jordan Addison. Here are those two plays:

Super bummed for Cam Akers suffering another Achilles injury. In his honor, let's all watch him pancake a defensive lineman who's 70 pounds heavier than him and then let him know about it afterwards.

Here's the play KOC drew up on the sideline that got Justin Jefferson wide open behind the defense. You'd like to think McCarthy rips it for a 66-yard touchdown if the pocket holds up. He ended up doing well to gain 16 on a scramble.

Chuck Demmings!

They called this a hold on Byron Murphy Jr?

Did Dallas Turner get held or is this just good right tackle play from Lane Johnson? 🤔

Elijah Williams (99) belongs on the Vikings' 53-man roster, imo

J.J. McCarthy to a diving Jordan Addison for 18 yards

Not the easiest catch in the world, but that's a drop from Jordan Addison on third down

They called an illegal block on Ham here but not a late hit against Powell?

Sensitive content

Here's the second Darnold interception. You'd love to see him pick up Jones flashing open as the checkdown. Instead, he tries to go to Jefferson but the two aren't on the same page.

Olivia Miles is special. She's gonna play in this league for a long, long time

Just feel awful for Carson Wentz on a human level. It feels legitimately irresponsible that he was allowed to play almost the entire game.

Here's Kyler Murray converting nine third downs against the Saints with his arm and his legs. Good football player.

Odell Beckham Jr. cracking jokes on his first day: "The reason I picked 9 is Justin got half his game from me."

Dallas Turner's first game of 2026 was incredible. 9 pressures. 7 QB hits. Sack + FF. Unreal speed off the edge from the 23-year-old.

T.J. Hockenson was not happy with his diving touchdown in the fourth quarter getting overturned by the replay center in New York. "Hands are underneath the ball," he said. "It's ridiculous."

Here's every J.J. McCarthy non-handoff from the Vikings' preseason opener against NYG (including two plays that didn't count because of penalties). Stats: 4 for 7, 34 yards, 1 rushing yard, 1 sack Thoughts?

Every snap from Caleb Banks' preseason debut. - 25 snaps - 3 tackles - 30.4 PFF grade

Missed this earlier, but C.J. Ham essentially confirms here that he's retiring after 10 seasons with the Vikings, saying it's time for him to be with his family. What a run for the former UDFA from Augustana. Phenomenal football player and human being.

Justin Jefferson on supporting J.J. McCarthy: "With all of the criticism and all of the hateful messages he's probably been getting, he can cut on the TV on SportsCenter, they can talk negatively about him. Just trying to be that person for him that he can always lean on and talk to."

J.J. McCarthy's jab at Ohio State today

Big Citrus is going to be good

Ryan Wright punted this from his own 10! Could be one of the plays of the game if the Vikings capitalize and end up winning

Aaron Jones is genuinely very excited to play his first home game at U.S. Bank Stadium and hear the SKOL chant. “It’s contagious. When you’re on the other sideline, you’re trying not to clap, you’re trying not to get into it.”

Demond Claiborne's 12 carries for 34 yards in his Vikings preseason debut. How'd he look?

Every J.J. McCarthy dropback from preseason game #2 against the Ravens. 5/10, 81 yards, 1 sack, and a 19-yard completion negated by a holding call. QB2 or QB3?

The Carson Wentz experience is wild because he had like two minutes of lowlights against the Eagles and he also did stuff like this:

Shoutout to whoever in London asked Sam Darnold about his "15th and the 1st" pregame tradition

Kevin O'Connell on the final play: "Looking back, I wish I would've clocked it and not tried to steal one there." Kirk Cousins had some trouble hearing O'Connell in his headset and the play resulted in a game-ending interception.
