Sphinx in Egypt...Say goodbye Haven't seen the Sphinx yet & can't soon? Chances are you never actually will. It'll just be a reconstruction. I'm sure the surrounding wall area is next, effectively hiding all the evidence of water erosion that's always dismissed. Walk all around it & touch everything after...once you pay the new separate admission fee of course. Another example of modern archaeology

We aren’t blowing smoke 💨 We are asking questions…is what we are seeing at Gobekli Tepe 🇹🇷 in the best interest of the site & learning more about our collective history? We’ve documented things that make us think no & are working hard to share that as quickly as possible. Thank you to Paul Hill for adding further context. Read the post below for his & other archeologists opinions on this ⬇️ Jimmy Corsetti was right about the trees 🌳 He is also right about the roof & walkways built directly into the site. We can’t excavate this site w/care fully for 150 years but we can build a massive multi million dollar roofing system & tourist walkway directly into the site with gift shops, media engagement center, ticketing complex, parking lots, bus transfer system & development plans for a resort/hotel onsite…? This isn’t unique to Gobekli Tepe, it’s just the hot topic at the moment.

Here are some important details from all the Gobekli Tepe controversy - - massive steel beams pierce directly into Gobekli Tepe archaeological site - roots remain (cutting trees just for show?) - foundational support systems in the site for the roof mean excavation around those areas must now either stop completely or will be limited in order to not jeopardize stability - some archaeologists are defending this just as they did the trees - other archaeologists are beginning to speak out just as Çiğdem Köksal Schmidt did years ago - the partnership thru a 20 year management agreement with the Dogus Group at Gobekli Tepe in 2016 shows the focus is now on profitability, not archaeology - this is not unique to Gobekli Tepe and is representative of a much larger worldwide issue Full video linked ⬇️ in comments exposing the worldwide issues from my last 10 years of travel.

Gobekli Tepe 🇹🇷 - The trees 🌳 have been cut down but the roots remain. It will be interesting to see what the plan is for removal or if this is all just for show to assuage the public outcry 🤔 Working on several videos currently to share everything I documented w/Jimmy Corsetti & Nikkiana Jones all to be released before the conference in April🔥

Alaskan Boneyard was a surreal experience I’m still trying to process fully.
