ego and confidence are the two special ingredients in accomplishing great things think of it like a flywheel. a constant positive feedback loop 1) have MASSIVE ego and supreme confidence in your abilities 2) this will allow you to take risks more readily than someone who wouldn't have the ego + confidence 3) this means you're more likely to succeed in your steps into the abyss 4) which will cycle back into boosting your confidence and ego 5) which will mean you take even greater risks 6) which will mean you will accomplish even greater feats. of course, with greater risk there is also a greater chance of loss, but here's the kicker: only those with EXTREMELY high confidence in their abilities will be able to brush off bigger and bigger losses, reassess their situation, adapt, and roll the dice again. literally all you need is ego and confidence.
