At the Paris Motor Show, XPENG and Tesla brought autonomous driving to real Paris streets as part of the official Autonomous Lab program — the first large-scale public experience of XPENG’s AI driving technology in Europe. I also tried Tesla FSD. Both FSD and NGP have made impressive progress, each with its strengths. Today, we launched the world’s first automated production line for advanced general‑purpose humanoid robots, using robots to mass‑produce robots, autonomously. This was uncharted territory, and we solved it from scratch. The commissioning of our production line means humanoid robots are now ready to scale up and step into the real world. What touched my heartstrings most was watching our very first advanced general‑purpose humanoid robot complete assembly and walk off the line on its own. To me, this is not just about a smarter tool or a commodity. I hope it gains true generalization ability to take on dangerous, repetitive, or undesirable tasks, and ultimately make life better. Perhaps one day, robots may become our companions, friends, or part of family. Grateful to every colleague on this momumental mission. And a warm welcome to IRON!

Over the past year, many people have asked me:"With XPENG’s robots getting so much attention, why don’t you show them more often?" It’s simple: I don’t agree. I believe our robots need to be better, not louder. We shouldn’t be in a rush. We should spend our time on technology, on the product, and on getting the fundamentals right. Ahead of the big brand day, I'm pleased to share that following its successful rollout in China this March, XPENG's Next Generation Pilot (NGP) intelligent driving system powered by VLA 2.0 technology will launch in Europe in early 2027. We've been testing on European roads for quite some time and results are pretty positive as in the video. I will also be testing it on the Munich road later today. Your turn Xianming Liu ! And we're not stopping there. We look forward to working with European partners to bring XPENG Robotaxi fleet powered by the same foundation model to local markets.
