TRENDING SOUTH AFRICA 🇿🇦 South African dancer and choreographer Limpopo Boy is at the centre of a social-media storm after an alleged intimate video circulated widely online. The clip has triggered intense discussion, with some social-media users questioning whether it is authentic or AI-generated. Claims circulating about the identity or marital status of the other person shown in the video also remain unverified. Limpopo Boy’s management has now responded, describing the circulation of the intimate footage as “unauthorised and malicious.” Limpopo Boy, whose real name is Robert Matome Thoka, is a well-known dancer, choreographer and musician from Limpopo. His career has included appearances at major entertainment events including the Global Citizen Festival, South African Music Awards (SAMAs) and MTV Base Awards. The controversy has also reopened conversations around digital privacy, consent and the growing difficulty of determining whether viral intimate content is genuine or AI-manipulated.

🚨🇷🇼 SCANDAL: Kagame Sides With Journalist Against His Own Foreign Minister in Live Press Conference An awkward moment involving President Paul Kagame and Rwanda’s Foreign Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe is drawing attention after Kagame publicly sided with journalist Scovia Umutesi during a press conference in Kigali. The controversy dates back to an earlier online clash between Nduhungirehe and Scovia, after the minister criticized her interpretation of comments he had made in French. Their disagreement subsequently developed into a public exchange on social media. But when the dispute resurfaced during Kagame’s August 24 press conference at the Kigali Convention Centre, the president’s response was unexpected. Kagame said Scovia had nothing to apologize for, adding that it was instead Minister Nduhungirehe who should have apologized over the way he exchanged words with journalists. “She had nothing to apologize for. Nothing,” Kagame said, according to circulating translations of his Kinyarwanda remarks. Kagame also defended journalists’ right to question and scrutinize government officials, arguing in substance that being a minister does not make someone the sole owner of the truth. The moment is now circulating across Rwandan social media, with attention focused on the unusual sight of Kagame publicly correcting one of his most senior ministers while defending the journalist involved in their dispute. Nduhungirehe remains Rwanda’s Foreign Minister, and there is no indication that Kagame announced any disciplinary action against him. But politically, the message was delivered in front of the cameras: according to Kagame, the journalist did not owe the apology — his Foreign Minister did. #Rwanda #PaulKagame

#DRC Julius Malema on Kagame’s Betrayal of Peace in Congo: "How does a Rwandan president go all the way to the Oval Office, sit with the president of the DRC, Tshisekedi, and sign a peace agreement... then return home and continue feeding his rebel gangs in the forests of Congo? Julius Malema That’s not diplomacy. That’s deception. He signs documents in Washington while his M23 militias continue killing women and children in Uvira, Goma, and Bukavu. That’s not a peace partner — that’s a warlord in a suit. Let’s not play games: Kagame benefits from Congo’s chaos. He thrives on looted minerals, stolen lives, and silence from powerful friends. Rwanda enjoys production from rebel-held mines, while Congo buries its children. If the peace agreement means anything, then the United States, as the guarantor of that deal, must hold Rwanda accountable. Otherwise, that Oval Office photo is nothing but staged theater, while the forests of Congo burn. People are urged to stand with the people of Congo. And Rwanda must get out of Congo unconditionally.
