A heartbreaking scene. Piers Morgan is interviewing Richard Dawkins, one of the most influential minds alive today, and he shuts down. He won’t even comment on Salman Rushdie. This is where terrorism leads, as Piers points out. This is how it works.

No matter what I was willing to endure - the niqab, the toxic marriage, the unimaginable physical abuse - my daughter was where I drew the line. I wanted to be the “good Muslim girl” because I was programmed to believe that my mother's pleasure was my ticket to heaven. But when they tried to take my daughter to Egypt for FGM, that was were it ended. Subject me to your toxic culture all you want, but I will burn down the world before I let you mutilate my child. The hijab is not a fun symbol of “diversity” and “inclusion” for brands to commercialize. For millions of women across the globe, it is a symbol of purity culture, r*pe culture, and religiously mandated misogyny. To glamorize it is to spit in the face of every woman in Iran who risks execution by removing it. Watch my full discussion on the Unveiled Book Club with ilvalues

"I was born at the heart of Hamas leadership and I know them very well. They don't care for the Palestinian people. They are using the Palestinian cause only to achieve their goals, transforming the Middle East and the world into an Islamic state."

We talk about colonialism like it only came in one language and one skin color. But North Africa didn’t magically become Arab. Iraq didn’t magically become Muslim. Afghanistan didn’t magically stop being Buddhist. Islam spread through empire, conquest, and forced cultural erasure just like every other empire. If that makes you uncomfortable… good. It means you’re finally learning. 💬 Why is it easier for people to accept Christian colonialism than Islamic colonialism?

A quote from my dad, a man born and raised in Gaza. Remember that most of the ppl screaming have never set foot in Palestine and have probably never met a Palestinian. Ppl in Gaza know that it all went downhill from Arafat and went dark after Hamas. They’ve been cursed w leadership more focused on hating Jews than loving Palestinians.

.Dalia Ziada - داليا زيادة is Director of a Middle East think tank and author of a book on Islamists. Listen to her explain to you the core of this Israel vs Hamas war and how it is about something much bigger than a land claim-and how you, in the west, are involved.

People in the Middle East fight to escape Islamist movements. People in the West defend them from a safe distance. George Clooney can talk casually on daytime television about the Muslim Brotherhood because he has never had to live under them. There is nothing progressive about supporting movements that people elsewhere are risking their lives to escape. It shouldn’t be shocking that parts of the left align with radical Islam. It has happened over and over again, and it has always ended in blood. In Iran, those who helped bring the regime to power later disappeared once they were no longer useful. That’s the playbook.

There are 57 Muslim countries with distinct cultures that are erased and replaced with hijab. The hijab is not “cultural clothing.” Women in Islamic countries are forced to shroud their bodies and their personalities in the name of religion. It has nothing to do with culture. This idea that “all Muslims share a culture" is a lie told by those who want to replace diversity, free thought, and free expression in the Muslim world with a monolithic oppressive Islam. Arabic is my first language and to be condescended to by non-Muslims or converts to Islam who do not speak Arabic, trying to tell me what the word ‘daraba’ means is beyond infuriating. Any Arabic speaker anywhere in the world is familiar with this world as it is commonly used daily. It means ‘to hit/ to beat’. Allah instructed men in Quran 4:34 to beat wives who they fear might be arrogant or disobedient. Twisting yourself around into a pretzel trying to deny this, because you are ashamed, is futile and only proves that your moral compass is better tuned than Allah’s.

Hindu girls in Pakistan. Christian girls in Nigeria. British girls in Rotherham. Israeli women on October 7th. The pattern is painfully clear: when the perpetrators belong to a protected group, we no longer need to believe women. 💬 Why do certain victims get immediate belief while others face instant doubt?

The man they forced me to marry was captured and sent to prison in Egypt for being an Al-Qaeda terrorist, and I was finally free. I started going to university and eventually took off my hijab. It was then that my mother decided I should be killed.

Anonymous Gaza resident: “Hamas bears responsibility for the wars, but we are the ones who pay the price. You launched an attack and took all these hostages, but did you think about how Israel would respond? Did you think they’d say ‘Hey, whatever, ok…”

Happy #NoHijabDay to all you courageous and inspiring women who have fought for your freedom to shine ✨As Maya Angelou said: Each time a woman stands up for herself, without knowing it, possibly without claiming it, she stands up for all women.

💔 Christian girls in Nigeria, kidnapped, raped, and slaughtered by Boko Haram 💔 Sikh and Hindu girls in Pakistan, taken from their families and forced into Islam. 💔 Yazidi women sold into slavery. 💔 Jewish women raped and butchered by Hamas on October 7 💔 Mass sexual assaults in Italy, Germany, and Sweden by migrant men. 💔 Rape gangs in the UK preying on thousands of young girls while authorities look the other way. Every day, women across the world are being raped, kidnapped, forcibly converted, sold into slavery, brutalized. And to make it so much worse, they are being ignored. Why? Because their oppressors are the wrong skin color and the wrong religion for mainstream feminists to care. Because speaking the truth is labeled “Islamophobia.” Because calling out this horror is deemed more offensive than the crimes themselves. Enough. No more silence. No more excuses. No more gaslighting. This International Women’s Day, if you claim to stand for women, stand for ALL women. Stop protecting their abusers
