Just a reminder to Sunnis who want unity with Iran and the Shia: this is what they portray during Ashura. They blame you for it and call you “Sons of Yazid.” They are still blaming you for the death of Hussein and his infant son over 1,000 years ago. Reminds you of anyone? This is exactly how Iran became Shia, through genocide and forced conversion under Shah Ismail. This is why they scream “Ya Zaynab!” when they fire artillery on Sunni cities. So, searching for unity with the Shia as a Sunni is like a lamb seeking unity with the butcher.
