GAME DESIGNERS WERE SMARTER IN THE EARLY 00s. All these modern game designers with their overpriced game design diplomas have no idea what FUN means. Don't you think that during the development of GTA 3, a game centered on driving, a designer didn't come up with the question 'what if we added gas stations to refuel the cars'? And someone else said 'nah, that would destroy the fun and rhythm'? There’s a reason why no GTA game has had a refueling mechanic. Because it would interrupt your missions. It would interrupt you from having FUN. It’s a design principle game designers understood 25 years ago. What if you steal a car and immediately have to refuel it? That destroys any sense of amusement and thrill GTA VI is a neverending list of design mistakes... and refueling is one of them.

ROCKSTAR MADE A TERRIBLE MISTAKE The studio thought it would be a good idea to open GTA VI's extended look with one of the slowest build ups and shootouts in video game history without even providing a wide shot of Vice City… with its gorgeous sun-drenched beaches, indulgent skyscrapers, neon lights and highways. It’d be like Disney trying to sell you Disneyland, but instead of giving you a panoramic vision of the park, it only gave you a recording of the waiting hall that precedes Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. It’s simply not what your audience is expecting.
