I have learned about someone named Corazon. He was Doflamingo's younger brother and saved Law's life at some point... but Doflamingo killed him 13 years ago. Doflamingo also mentioned that his mother died when he was young and he killed his father?? Emotional pain is coming.

Wait... so Hody has no real reason to hate humans?? This part kinda confused me lol but I think I got the gist Basically Hody and his crew have some ancient grudge mentality inherited into them to kill humans, and actually had no real intent to help fishmen. They just used the whole drama around Otohime and Arlong's story as a means to stir shit up and go on a killing spree? Is that right basically? I'm curious if this is supposed to have much more implication to ancestors and gods being present in the overall story and all that (the ark is literally called Noah lol)... but I'm trying to understand if its a translation thing or should be taken more literally 😅

This is something I love about One Piece Instead of a simple escape scene out of the PH labs, we get this tense montage panning slowly over each group giving you time to reflect on all the chaos they've experienced on this island before its blown up Idk I think it's so cool

No joke I think Doflamingo might be one of the best villains of all time holy shit Not only did he have an entire city fooled for years with a secret workforce of enslaved toys who were forgotten people, but he even had an emergency killswitch backup plan if so Jesus christ 😭
