While it boosts tonnage on paper, the end result on your plate is not great: 👉 𝗟𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿: Rapid pen-fattening produces soft meat, but it lacks the rich taste of properly matured, range-fed beef. 👉 Fatty Offals: The offals from these cows are often laced with thick layers of soft fat and taste horrible. Until butcheries are required to label this meat properly, price remains your best indicator: If you see "Super Beef" selling for significantly less than 𝗨𝗦$𝟳.𝟱𝟬/𝗸𝗴, it is almost certainly pen-fattened cow beef.
