I had the honour of speaking at the Africa Prosperity Network on how we must empower Africa’s youth to lead the tech and AI revolution. At Divaloper , we believe that building capacity in digital skills isn’t just an option—it’s our responsibility and opportunity. 🌍 Consider this: across Africa, 85% of businesses say they already are or will be investing in AI within the next 3–5 years. 📊 Today, Africa sees only about US$2 – 3 billion in AI investment—just ~1–1.5% of global AI funding—despite representing roughly 17% of the world’s population. 🚀 But the trajectory is strong: the African AI market is projected to grow from ~US$4.5 billion in 2025 to ~US$16.5 billion by 2030—an annual growth rate of ~27%.
