In the weeks leading up to Christmas, we witnessed **multiple queues of men lining up outside the Salvation Army in Braintree every Thursday. We believe this operation is funded by Care4Calais, and one of our team was able to attend inside on the Thursday before Christmas to see first-hand what was happening. This is what goes on inside the Salvation Army in Braintree on a Thursday. Meanwhile, our homeless and our veterans are struggling, people are living in temporary accommodation, and many cannot even afford basic meals. Those attending are being provided with three meals a day, onsite medical care, priority dentist and are then bussed in from RAF Wethersfield to Braintree. This is not about hatred.
