Israel had already declared that it does not want any Syrian military presence in Quneitra and Suwayda. If this agreement ensures the Syrian army remains absent, then The goal behind activating the Israeli backed Druze militia was twofold: 1•To provoke a war with the Syrian government (failed) 2 - To restrict all weapons to the Syrian state, a state that is not even allowed to maintain a military presence in Quneitra and Suwayda (if that is what the agreement states).
