A render running since Tuesday makes Sheldon's triangle feel... less like a theory and more like a complaint. I'd be interested in his response to $0.003/sec with fast generation and comparable quality. That's Vivix W1's proposed correction, and for a real-time interactive video model it matters every time you ask for something else. You can't have an ongoing exchange on Sheldon's rendering schedule.show more

I can already see the tree I'd ski into.... If this perspective became interactive, I'd need cheap attempts more than a heroic opening shot. Vivix W1's $0.003/sec would make another eight generated seconds $0.024, with fast generation and comparable quality. That's a useful starting point for a real-time interactive video model you can actually spend time learning to use. The real-time capability is on its API; the run I'd like to try is still a possibility.show more

This snowy skiing scene makes me want to explore... every turn, and Vivix W1 $0.003/sec pricing makes that idea even more compelling. A real-time interactive video model should let you explore new paths without generating fresh footage every time, while keeping generation fast, visual quality consistent, and costs low. This is where Vivix W1’s potential gets interesting.show more

$0.003/sec changes the economics of running real-time AI video.... I’ve been testing Vivix W1, and that number is hard to ignore. The comparison shows visual quality on par with the models alongside W1. About a second of generation time per second of footage, too. But W1 isn’t just another video generator. It’s built for real-time interactive video, where the model keeps generating as the experience moves forward. Every second of that experience adds to the generation bill. At $0.003/sec, you can actually start thinking about a story that keeps going as viewers make choices. Vivix.AI already supports real-time generation through the API. The browser playground currently uses offline generation, with real-time browser tools coming soon. Continuous video is one thing. Giving viewers meaningful control is another. If I change my mind halfway through a story, how much can it actually change with me? That’s the interesting challenge. The next plot twist could be yours 👇show more

1 video with Seedance 2.5. Or 77 with Vivix... W1. Same $1.85 budget. 20× faster generation. Comparable quality. Just $0.003 per second. The playground is live: W1 is built for interactive video. Making it an everyday medium is impossible without high quality, low latency, and low cost. W1 is the first to deliver all three. Under 1/50 the cost. 20× faster generation. Comparable quality. There are still gaps in cinematic fidelity, complex motion, and dense scenes. Full-scale training is underway.show more

Same perfume concept. Four video models. The difference becomes... obvious once the scene starts changing. Vivix W1 keeps the subject and product feeling coherent as the studio transitions into the storm. For me, that matters more than how dramatic the storm looks. An eight-second version costs $0.024 to generate. Waiting for it takes roughly eight seconds. This comparison only shows a finished clip. W1 is built for real-time interactive video, not just one-shot generation. Vivix.AI already offers that real-time capability through the API. At $0.003/sec, that also makes experimenting with interactive video workflows a lot more accessible. Letting a viewer influence how a scene unfolds would mean paying for generation throughout the interaction. Worth watching the comparison closely. $0.003 per second for video generation, without compromising on... speed or visual quality? The supplied comparisons put Vivix W1 alongside leading models on visual quality. It also delivers eight seconds of video in roughly eight seconds. But the bigger story is that W1 is a real-time interactive video model. Every extra minute of interaction means more video to generate and pay for. Making generation this affordable could make interactive stories and live visuals practical to run, not just impressive demos. Live visuals are what I’m most curious about. Generating quickly is one thing; reacting at the right moment is what would make them feel live. Vivix.AI already offers real-time generation through the API; the browser playground currently produces finished clips. A closer look at what could power those live visuals 👇show more

An hour of live AI video generation now costs... $10.80 At $0.003 a second, Vivix W1 generates a full minute for just 18 cents. That price matters because of what W1 is. It's a real-time interactive video model. Through the API, it keeps generating video while the experience is happening, and you can shape what comes next. With a normal clip generator, you pay once and you're done. Real-time interactive video keeps generating as you use it. Every second generated is another second you pay for. At higher per-second rates, that bill can grow quickly. It's hard to ship an interactive product when every user session costs a fortune. With W1, the math starts to look workable. And they didn't buy that price by cutting quality or speed. In Vivix’s supplied tests, eight-second videos averaged 7.7 seconds to generate from text and 8.4 seconds with one reference image. In the side-by-side comparisons, W1 holds its own against Seedance 2.5, Kling 3.0, and H3 Max on the same prompts. An exploding taxi, a skyline shot, a robot serving drinks on a plane. It's not perfect yet: • Cinematic fidelity still has gaps • Complex motion and dense scenes still need work • Full-scale training is still underway, so this is an early checkpoint How to try it: • Real-time generation is live through the API today • The browser playground does offline generation for now. Submit a prompt and you get a finished clip. Real-time browser tools are coming soon My take: I've seen a lot of interactive video demos that would cost a fortune to run in production. This looks priced for something you could actually ship. Once a minute of live video generation costs 18 cents, interactive stories, games, and characters could become an everyday medium instead of a tech demo. What I want to see next from Vivix.AI: better complex motion. Improve that and the use cases open up fast. Put your project’s runtime into the equation 👇show more

AI video is hitting the same wall AI agents... hit a year ago: The tech works. The economics don't. That's why Vivix.AI caught my attention. Their new real-time interactive video model, W1, generates video for just $0.003/sec while staying surprisingly fast and competitive on quality. To put that in perspective: At the supplied rates, an equal-length Seedance 2.5 clip costs about 77 times as much as a W1 clip. But the interesting part isn't cheaper clips. It's what happens when video becomes cheap enough to run continuously. Interactive stories. Live AI-generated experiences. Visuals that respond in real time. Those products only work if generation costs stay low. W1 still has room to improve on cinematic fidelity and complex scenes, but making real-time video economically viable feels like a much bigger milestone than most people realise. Here’s the W1 rate I’d use in a project estimate:show more

YOU can't destroy something that was never yours to... begin with. Englot didn't happen because of an organization, a plan, or a marketing move. It happened because two people genuinely liked each other. Because two women actually fell for each other... in real time, in real life. We watched it unfold. A straight girl, in front of the entire world, slowly realizing she had fallen for a woman. For Engfa. We saw it. They lived it. And once something that real exists, you can't undo it. You can't rewrite it. And you definitely can't take credit for it. That's why Englot can't be ruined. Because it was never built on control, contracts, or strategy. It was built on honesty, on feelings they didn't even know how to hide. From two women who weren't afraid to feel... And that's why, no matter what, Englot will always be Englot. Englot will never die. Just like their feelings for each other never died...show more

you are making video games all wrong for decades... almost all game art time went into reverse-engineering the end result you start with concept art of what you WANT it to look like. then for YEARS you walk the computer backwards into something it can process: a rendering engine, 3d assets that fit that engine, and a gamer’s local hardware that has to turn all of that back into a high fidelity image incredibly slow. incredibly expensive. but it was the best we had ai makes that pipeline faster as everyone is figuring out today. but they’re missing the real unlock: YOU DON’T NEED THAT PIPELINE AT ALL if you have a reference for the end look, you don’t model it in 3d. you don’t reverse-engineer into an engine you keep a very basic greybox model of the world as the source of truth, and track every entity in real time. it doesn’t need to look good at all… the player never sees it! a fast video model turns that into the “game” in real time. it doesn’t have to look like a game. it can look like a 2d cartoon or cinematic live action fal’s h3 max is very fast. astra 6 low-effort too. neither is fully realtime yet but together they can generate continuous, coherent, player-controlled scenes, faster than playback early demo:show more
