OK, I have a definitive word on the CJ... Abrams play from today's Pittsburgh Pirates at Washington Nationals game after talking with Elias Sports Bureau on this. This play will stay as a sacrifice fly. The originial ruling of NOT a sacrifice fly was for the exact same reason that I thought, which is that the infielder is not running into the outfield, which is year's past would have been correct As it was explained to me, in past years, an infielder had to be running almost in a straight line towards the outfield wall to be considered "running in the outfield". Here, since he is running, and he ends up further away from home (157 feet) than when he started (145 feet), this is going to count as a sacrifice fly. That definition is changing, in part from this play to help bring greater consistency, and to take some of the guesswork out of it (the argument that he is running into the outfield as opposed to more parallel). Now, folks all the time ask "why doesn't MLB publish the OS Manual" and I always say because it is a living document that can have the wording change, and the wording for this play will be modified to something like "more towards the outfield wall than towards home plate" to eliminate any confusion. The big key to this play is that he was running on a full sprint. Also, and this is helpful for me, but for all fly ball outs that score a run, Elias Saba reviews to ensure consistency. So, yes, it's a sacrifice fly, and now that I have that info from Elias themselves, that sort of settles this one. Sounds like the guidelines for this definition will be changing, either this season, or certainly for next season.show more

This man, who is around 50 years old, had... always dreamed of buying a motorcycle in his youth. But because of financial struggles and the responsibility of raising and supporting his family, he could never afford to buy his dream bike. Now that his children have grown up and started earning, he finally came to a motorcycle showroom today to buy the bike he had dreamed of owning. As he purchased his dream bike after 24 years, he became emotional. It was the same bike he could not afford to buy 24 years ago. He quietly sat down on the floor and kept looking at the motorcycle with tears in his eyes. It was as if all the emotions he had carried inside for years had finally come out. He had waited so long to fulfill this one dream. In life, some people get everything easily, while others have to wait 24 years just to buy a single motorcycle.show more

People are applauding this guy, but really, there is... nothing to applaud He is the epitome of the modern elitist liberal I don't believe he is being brave or “close to God” The opposite! Modern elitist liberals don’t care about anything and hate themselves They drink to sleep at night and dream of destroying the country They loathe everyone around them They hate God and everything Jesus represents He is sitting there unbothered because he finds comfort in chaos and can't bring himself to care An Elizabethan tragedy captured on camera with a much deeper meaning beneath what is being misinterpreted as a stoic composureshow more

To those abroad who are interested in knowing what’s... happening in Denmark; The leader of en extreme left wing party Enhedslisten shared a video from a demonstration in front of Danish parliament yesterday, where “death death to the IDF” is clearly heard chanted by a large group of people. After being confronted with the fact that he shared a video with incitement to murder, the party leader Pelle Dragsted first lied - saying he couldn’t hear the chants - then downplayed the severity, shaming those who called him out for sharing the video. The “slogans” as he called it weren’t important in this context. Israel’s “genocide” is. He then went on to delete the post and repost the same video without sound. It’s the same party that sent money to a Palestinian terror group (DFLP) which took part in the October 7 massacre. The same party which has joined demonstrations in Copenhagen where Hamas merchandise was handed out and protest leaders chanted Intifada Revolution. A party whose members openly praise notorious antisemite Fransesca Albanese and have called for Israel to be disarmed and dissolved.show more

Y'all know I don't post things just to start... drama but things like this are frustrations and miscues you're seeing with the offense this year. I didn't see this on the broadcast but after a screen to Kittle, there's something off about what Deebo did. Kyle is up around the 40 to the right so Deebo is talking to someone else on the sideline, who's getting after him. I went back to the broadcast and this was Kyle's reaction right after this happened. Lip readers, what's Kyle saying? Pretty sure there's a word that starts with F in there.show more

Have you ever noticed how a simple cup of... tea can evoke so many emotions and bring people together? Whether you're feeling bored, catching up with an old friend, or waiting for someone, tea is the perfect way to start a conversation and pass the time. For me, tea has been a way of life since childhood - from sipping on black tea and puffed rice to indulging in milk tea during my college years. Having 15-20 cups during formative years of #KIIT and now shifting to some healthy options and reducing the intake to 3 cups- tea has been a way of my life. #InternationalTeaDayshow more

They told us it was about inclusion. In May... 2019 Democrats invited Omar Suleiman, a man with a long record of calling for intifada, to open the U.S. House with prayer. Nancy Pelosi gave him the floor. He just celebrated the death of Senator Lindsey Graham, an Air Force veteran and colonel, and wished him an “eternity in ruins.” This is who the modern Democrat Party elevates and defends. The mask did not slip. It was never on to begin with.show more

Due to overwhelming high demand, a number of orders... from our first batch have unfortunately been moved to the second batch, which is now 90% ordered! Our manufacturers are hard at work to keep up with strong demand and we estimate that the second batch will now be sent the latter part of June. As part of this second batch we will update you by email with Fedex tracking numbers so you can see in real time where the mining rig is in the system. We apologize to those affected by this production demand, but rest assured us and the manufacturers are working hard to clear the backlog. Thank you for your patience and support!show more

There, just there, Eşref no longer speaks of Rüya... with guilt or remorse. He openly admits that he loves Nisan - loves her more than he ever loved Rüya herself. To him, she is not a replacement, not a way to fill the void Rüya left behind. It isn’t because he once glimpsed Rüya in her. He loves her simply for who she is: Nisan. And that is when he will be rewarded with the truth - Nisan is Rüya. He had doubted his own belief that “a heart loves only once,” yet when the truth is revealed, it’s as if he will find his compass again. Everything he knows, everything he once believed, proves true. All the pieces will fall into place. And what he could not see with his own eyes, he will finally understand he can trust his heart to know. #EşrefRüya #EşSanshow more

Same name, same birthday, but the weight of the years between them could not be more different. Still, this Shiroko is someone who chose to get back on the pedals again. Every day she finds something broken and brings it back to life with her own hands, and that tells you everything. Some quirks seem to stay the same no matter which world she comes from, though. "A little boy on a filthy mattress had already... learned to fear footsteps in the dark. By the time Deputy Mason Cole reached the back room, the child was clutching a dirty stuffed animal so tightly it looked like the toy was the only thing keeping him together. Neighbors had called after hearing a child crying inside a house that was supposed to be empty. The property had been in foreclosure for months, the power was cut, and the windows were boarded over. When Mason forced the door open, the smell hit him first. Trash covered the floor, and somewhere deeper in the house a thin, broken whimper kept rising through the silence. That sound led him down a narrow hallway to a cluttered bedroom in the back. Sitting on a stained mattress surrounded by snack wrappers was a 3 year old boy named Eli, his face streaked with dirt, his hair matted, and his whole body curled around that stuffed animal like it was a shield. One look at him told Mason this wasn't a child who had been left alone for an hour. Fear had sunk too deeply into him, and hunger had already pulled the strength out of his face. Later, the truth came together piece by piece. Eli’s mother was a severe addict who had broken into the empty house to squat, then walked out 3 days earlier to drink and get high and never came back. Mason didn't stay in the doorway and manage the room from a distance. He stepped across the mess on the floor, climbed onto the dirty mattress, and lowered himself beside the trembling boy so he wouldn't feel another adult towering over him. “Hey. Hey. You’re okay.” Eli flinched at first and pulled the stuffed animal tighter against his chest. Tears filled his eyes when he looked up, and the words that came out were barely louder than a whisper. “I was scared.” Mason’s voice dropped even softer. “I know that. You’re safe now.” No answer came right away. Every muscle in the boy’s body stayed tight for another second, like he was waiting to find out whether those words were true. Mason wrapped an arm around him carefully and stayed still. “Believe me,” he said. “I’m not leaving.” Something shifted in that moment. Eli stopped curling away and leaned into the deputy’s chest instead, the fear finally breaking loose in a hard, shaking sob. A partner standing nearby caught the quiet scene for a second before they carried the boy out of the dark house and into the warm patrol car. Mason kept talking to him the whole time. “We’re going to get you warm. Get you something to eat. It’s okay.” A long breath caught in the boy’s throat before he cried again, smaller this time. Mason held him close and gave him the one thing that had been missing from that house for days. “You don’t have to be scared anymore.” By the time they reached the car, Eli wasn't clutching the stuffed animal quite as hard. His head was resting against Mason’s uniform, and for the first time since anyone had found him, he looked like a child who believed help had really come. Today, Eli is in a safe foster home where he has clean clothes, regular meals, and a bed that doesn’t smell like garbage and rot. Mason still checks on him, making sure the little boy who was found crying in the dark knows somebody did come back for him after all.show more

Finally visited Babylon, Financial District, on my third attempt.... It was full the first two times. The place is huge and designed really well. Kudos to the owners for building such a landmark place. I hope they start the brewery soon once they get the license. Coming back to the food, I tried the Tandoori Platter and the Telangana Mutton Curry with Bagara Rice. Both were very decent. That said, the traffic and valet management are really bad. This place has blocked the entire road, and I had to wait 25 minutes for the valet. This wasn't a one-time issue. My wife had a similar experience earlier and had to wait more than 30 minutes. The biggest problem is that there doesn't seem to be a proper parking or traffic plan to begin with. It feels like everything was arranged after opening instead of being planned from the beginning for such a large restaurant.show more

There's been an unfortunate incident in LA with a... Uhaul plowing into a crowd of anti-Khameini protestors This man should never have been able to get near the crowd with a uhaul but some info about the situation seem to be - signage on the truck is anti both the shah and the current ayatollah. is this his actual position or is this camouflage to have gotten into the protest to perpetrate an attack? "no Shah, No regime, No Mullah" Mullah is a religious leader so possibly referring to the current leader and not a king like Pahlavi Timeline appears to be - anti-Khameini protestors try to rip signs off his vehicle and are bashing on the windows and eventually his passenger side window is broken - guy in uhaul then stutterstops forward into the crowd, eventually accelerating further, then stuttering again, then full stopping down the road - there is a man surfing on top of the uhaul in the 3rd video, below I have posted another video showing the man on top of the uhaul trying to take the posters off the side, so he is likely part of the anti-Khameini protestors - uhaul driver is taken into custody by police is this a case of police not having the street sufficiently blocked off and so a guy was able to get a uhaul in here? He should not have been able to drive a uhaul this close to a massive protest crowd There are a lot of people saying this is a terrorist attack, it is possible it could be one but I don't think there's enough information to accurately assert that at this time The chronology of events also shows it is possible that the driver was in fear of his life since protestors were banging on the uhaul, windows, and removing signs+ eventually breaking his window Whatever turns out to be the actual case, it is an unfortunate event and as of right now a seeming silver lining is that no deaths have been reportedshow more
