I had to spend my 35th birthday at home,... isolating with Covid, so I decided to spend the day planting 35 black poplar trees. Five’s years later & a dozen of these trees survived & they’re starting to get massive: outgrowing the local lampposts & almost ready to climb! As I turn 40 tomorrow, I decided to repeat the exercise, planting 40 trees (18 blank poplar & 22 willow). Digging into the wet, silty mud beside the river, it was hard work, but immensely satisfying to mark the passage of time & a big life transition by giving a gift to the river, and not just receiving.show more

Look at how American children live! I filmed this... on my way home from New York City after attending the World Falun Dafa Day parade a few days ago. I happened to get stuck behind a school bus, which kept stopping and delayed me quite a bit — but it also gave me a chance to closely observe the happy lives of these children. As you can see, the school bus drops each child off right at their home. Sometimes two houses are only five or ten meters apart, yet the bus still stops separately for each family. It doesn’t try to save time by dropping the children somewhere in between and making them walk home on their own. Around the 10-second mark in the video, you can see a small child get off the bus and cross the street to go home. That’s why in the United States, whenever a school bus stops, not only must all the cars behind it stop, but even the cars coming from the opposite direction must stop as well — all to ensure children can cross the road safely. I filmed both of these clips from inside my car. I was quite amazed that day, but I hadn’t had time to share them until now. Today I finally wanted to show everyone. This is what a society built for people looks like! And compare American children's lives with those of Chinese children! Someone asked me to look into the videos of... Tyler Robinson… said they noticed there are missing times I looked into what I recorded and it most certainly does. In this specific scene, it appears 1 minute and 16 seconds is missing. Notice the time stamp skipping ahead. Was at 11:53:17AM Skipped to 11:54:33 Several observations I have: 1. Probably most important.. He clearly pulls out a cell phone from his right pocket. He was calling or texting for at least that long. Who was he on the phone with? 2. Notice the shadows on the steps. They shift about an inch. Very noticeable. My question is, is 1 minute long enough for that shadow to move that far? For the sake of sanity, let’s just say yes. But it also proves the time skip. 3. Why show this? When people see this, it makes them think something was tampered with. It causes doubt. Now, to play devils advocate on my own observations— maybe they skipped the video to save time, to highlight his progression in movement.. fine. But please make that clear.. because these “glitches” are throughout the entire 13 minute presentation… I found them all over. I included the original 13 minute showing of videos unaltered.
