An Italian man has been sentenced to seven months... in jail for an “impossible” crime after he attempted to cheat a Singaporean watch dealer by selling a rare Rolex he believed was fake, only for it to be later confirmed as genuine. Deepak Singh, 24, pleaded guilty on Monday to one count of attempting to cheat. The court found that even though the Rolex GMT Saru timepiece was authentic, Singh’s clear intention to deceive was sufficient to constitute a crime, CNA reported. The bizarre case concluded with Singh being jailed for trying to pull off a scam that, due to facts unknown to him, could never have succeeded. The court heard that Singh’s ordeal began in early 2025 when he bought the Rolex from an acquaintance for €55,000 euros (RM255,000) and a Cartier bracelet.show more

One of the things I’ve struggled with this year... is my weight, due to a new medication. I’ve always been someone who loves food, but after going on birth control for the first time in 10+ years I gained 25 pounds in less than 3 months. The birth control was one attempt to help with my severe PMDD symptoms, but sadly it didn’t work AND caused my cravings to skyrocket. After doing a full 3 month test my doctor and I decided to try other treatment options for PMDD. A big reason for that decision was because my body fat percentage was quickly nearing 40% and was starting to cause other health issues. I’ll be completely honest, I lost a lot of motivation in the months after gaining the weight. It became seemingly impossible to get back to where I was just 6 months ago. How could it go downhill so quickly? I am proud to report, however, that after 3 months of changing my mindset and focusing on myself I have lost 7 of those 25 pounds. I am finally going to the gym consistently again, eating the correct amount of calories per meal (except on big film days 😅), and have been spending more time with people who lift me up. I still have a long way to go, but for the first time in over a year I’m really starting to feel like myself again. Thank you to all of you who’ve been on this wild and incredible journey with me all these years 😘show more

First time doing the Swiss bar bench press in... many years. Starting on the lighter side and will be gradually adding more weight over the coming weeks and months. Rebuilding my shoulder and getting it as functional as possible has been one of the greatest challenges I’ve ever faced, but I’ve never stopped. It’s been 10 years, and I continue to get better, stronger, and more capable. I have no regrets. I’ve avoided a shoulder replacement, I’ve avoided surgeries, and most importantly, I’ve refused to give up on myself. To anyone out there who has given up on themselves, I genuinely hope you find the strength to pick yourself back up and keep going. Progress doesn’t always happen quickly, but it does happen for those who refuse to quit. And that’s the last bite. Feed Me More!show more

I’ve been a Duke fan since I watched The... Shot in 1992 with my dad. We watched March Madness every year, and that was my first core memory of college basketball. I saw Christian Laettner on Letterman later that year (the Top Ten was also a family tradition back then) and was completely enamored. I insisted on a trip to Durham so I could see Cameron Indoor Stadium. My dad made it happen when I was in high school, even though I was definitely not Duke material (athletically or academically). I’m including a terrible pic of me at the Duke bookstore circa 1997. I took my oldest son to watch Duke in the Sweet 16 in Dallas in 2024. He’s been a Blue Devil basketball fan ever since. This is footage of my ambulance being blocked from... leaving Tottenham Hotspur stadium on April 26th & my team shouting at security to open the gate, so we can get to hospital. At this point I’ve been in the back of that ambulance for over 20 minutes. Eddie Hearn told everyone I lied about this but the truth is, it happened & we have to make sure situations like this don’t ever happen again in our sport. The past year has seen me have a renaissance,... in the truest sense… I won’t go into details now but will at some point before long. What has brought so much happiness to my life and those around me this past year has been my falling back in love with sport. Cycling has, and always will be, my number one. Yet I’d forgotten that I simply love sport, not for results but for the sheer joy of doing it, I’d completely forgotten that the health of my mind is intrinsically connected to the health of my body. I’ve rediscovered the love I had for sport that existed before the world of professional cycling took over in the way it did. I’ve been pushing myself and trying new things this past year, indifferent to the results, just out having fun and at times going deeper than I thought I was capable of anymore. Last week I got on a TT bike for the first time in a decade, Factor Bikes built me a bike, I’ve been looking at it for two years and decided it was time to get fitted, getting back on it felt like going home. Anyway, the long and the short of this is that it’s inspired me to create a club to inspire and be inspired. A community for us to share our love for getting out there and doing it, because I’ve realized that although I spend most of my sporting life on my own I derive the most pleasure when feeling part of something. It’s in its early days, I’ve called it Sporting Club CHPT3 aka SCC3, I’d love you to check it out and join. It’s still in its infancy, but I hope it’s going to grow into something that will inspire you as much as me.show more
