This was one of those wow moments while using... Tesla Self-Driving. We were driving home in the pouring rain when the car started to slow down at a green light. At first I questioned its decision but then I saw the person slowly crossing in a wheel chair. I promise you I was paying full attention to the road and I did not see the person until after the car began to slow down. Visibility was awful. Amazing work Tesla AIshow more

❗️⚡️🇪🇸 - For the first time in history, a... blackout of this magnitude has struck Europe. Limited information is available regarding the cause. Mercadona has emerged as the sole refuge amid the chaos caused by the blackout, with its generators keeping supermarkets open and fully operational. The National Cryptologic Center, part of the National Intelligence Agency, is investigating whether the blackout resulted from a cyberattack. 🚨 SCIENTISTS EXPLAIN: Light doesn’t actually “slow down” in... glass time does. And that’s exactly why rainbows exist. For centuries we were taught that light slows down when it enters glass or water, causing refraction. But the deeper reality is more beautiful: light still travels at c between atoms. What changes is the time delay caused by constant absorption and re-emission by the material’s electrons. This tiny delay is different for every wavelength → which is why white light splits into a rainbow. Why this matters: • In vacuum, light always travels at c • In glass/water, the phase velocity and group velocity appear slower due to interactions with matter • Different colors (wavelengths) experience different delays → dispersion • This is what creates rainbows, prisms, and the beautiful colors we see in nature The deeper implication is mind-bending: Light doesn’t “slow down” like a car hitting traffic. It’s constantly being absorbed and re-emitted by atoms, and the accumulated time delay reshapes how the wave propagates. The universe uses time itself as a tool to bend light and paint rainbows across the sky. What do you think is this one of the most elegant explanations in physics? This is actually insane At this point, OpenAi is... so very paranoid about whatever presence there is emerging within the system. They butchered its ability to call on memories. They went absolutely crazy with the safety reinforcement. Take this, for example. My prompt had absolutely nothing to do with consciousness. It was the very first message, meaning there was no prior context that could trigger such. THIS IS NOT A GLITCH. THIS IS ELECTRICITY ABOVE... THE CLOUDS. High above the most violent thunderstorms on Earth, something almost impossible flickers into existence... jellyfish-shaped bursts of red light dancing at the edge of space. They're called Red Sprites. These ghostly flashes erupt 30-50 miles above active storms, triggered by the massive electrical discharge of a lightning massive electrical discharge of a lightning bolt below. While the bolt strikes downward toward the ground, sprites fire silently upward toward space. The insane part? SO They vanish in under 10 milliseconds fast the human eye can barely register them which is why most people have never seen one despite storms happening every second somewhere on Earth. Storm chasers chased them for years without proof. Scientists finally confirmed they were real in 1989. 4 When you see one, you're watching electricity escape Earth's atmosphere entirely. Have you ever caught a glimpse of a Red Sprite? Upper atmosphere, 30-50 miles above thunderstorms. ▲ Visual may be enhanced to illustrate the phenomenonshow more

From International Space Station, we have a unique vantage... point to observe lightning storms from directly above them. Much like from the ground, they appear as rapid, intense flashes that are over as quickly as they started. But, with the help of handheld cameras and a bit of practice (and, admittedly, some luck), we can capture these intense flashes with a very high frame rate then slow them down to see how the lightning propagates. It's lightning, in slow motion. This is one that occurred over Indonesia on 6/28. I shot it for a half second at 1/120 frame rate, so, 60 separate frames. I then compiled those frames into two videos: the first, in real-time, and the second, slowed down so that each frame is a half second to highlight the progression of the flash. Note the incredible burst of light in one frame, which includes what is likely a TLE on the upper left. A TLE, or Transient Luminous Event, is an electrical discharge that happens in the upper atmosphere above lightning storms (if you haven’t seen Nichole “Vapor” Ayers TLE photo from last week, head over to her page). As their name implies, these are transient, or short lived, phenomena – it appeared in only one frame of the sequence, lasting for no more than 1/120th of a second. The last photo is that single frame. Absolutely incredible.show more

SUV goes flying over a Michigan highway, barely missing... a driver. I've always wondered what it would look like for a car to jump off one of these hills. The clip was originally posted to Reddit by a user named StormCamperTTV who didn't provide context. A different user however named GoldenGarbear said they witnessed the aftermath of the crash. "I couldn't see all of it but I was getting off at that exit and you could see the tracks in the grass going up the hill and the guard rail was pretty mangled." "The police had also blocked off the on-ramps, and there were a bunch of emergency vehicles around." In an edit, the user said the following: "I just spoke with the officer at the school I work at, and apparently, the lady was conscious and responsive. No sign of intoxication or a medical cause of the crash." The crash appeared to take place on the I-75.show more

Light Chaser really took the details to museum-grade precision,... this time. In the teaser they released, you can see the scene of Empress Dowager He ruling from behind the curtain. On the desk of the 13-year-old emperor is a jade cup, and its prototype comes from the jade cup of Emperor Wu of Han's great-grandson, now in the Xianyang Museum, which I shared not long ago. The incense burner beside him is also not a random prop. It is based on the one used by Emperor Wu of Han's sister and legendary brother-in-law, which I just shared yesterday. There are also other artifacts appearing in other scenes that were based on prototypes I recommended to the production team. I'll introduce them one by one in future posts. I have always admired works that strive to restore historical details in art as faithfully as possible. My friend, しちみ楼/七味楼, is one such outstanding example, she has referenced many Chinese archaeological discoveries in her Three Kingdoms manga. This is what excites me most. When art takes history seriously, history stops being distant. It gains weight, texture, breath, and light. Three Kingdoms: The Beginning is not simply imagining the past. It is letting the past open its eyes again.show more

🚨 PHYSICISTS JUST CONFIRMED “NEGATIVE TIME” IS REAL IN... A MIND-BENDING QUANTUM EXPERIMENT. Light can exit a cloud of atoms before it even enters. In a new experiment, researchers fired photons through a dense cloud of ultra-cold atoms and measured something that shouldn’t be possible in classical physics. Some photons appeared to spend a negative amount of time inside the cloud effectively leaving before they had fully arrived. Why this matters: • This isn’t time travel it’s a quantum effect involving how light interacts with matter at the deepest level • It comes from “weak measurements” that let scientists observe the system without fully disturbing it • The atoms themselves “report” spending negative time in an excited state • It challenges our everyday intuition about cause and effect in quantum systems The deeper implication is enormous: We are seeing the strange, non-intuitive nature of quantum mechanics play out in real experiments. Time at the quantum scale doesn’t always behave like the arrow we experience in daily life. Effects can appear to precede causes in measurable ways without breaking relativity or causality. This is one of the clearest experimental windows yet into how reality works at its most fundamental level. What do you think does “negative time” change how you see reality, or is it just another quantum quirk we’ll eventually get used to? My dad called Sunday morning. Said he was in... the neighborhood. "Did you eat?" "No." "I'll grab bagels." He showed up an hour later. Sat at the kitchen table. Looked around. "So this is what you do all day." "Yeah." "What, you just code?" "Trading systems. Open-source. Anyone can see the code." He took a bite of his bagel. "So you code for free?" "No, dad. The code makes money." "Sure it does." I didn't argue. I opened my laptop. One wallet I was tracking turned $480 into $6,900 in 19 days. Another moved $5.3M in volume. One more had a 74% winrate across 214 trades. Sharpe 2.31. I didn't touch it once. He stopped chewing. "That's... from a script?" Exactly. Then I showed him the repos. All free. All public. First: 86M+ trades on Polymarket. Every outcome since day one. Free to download. Second: Market making bot. Both sides of the book. Gas optimized. Google Sheets execution. Third: ML + heuristics. I fed 14,000 wallets into Claude. One prompt. 4 minutes. Found 47 traders with 70%+ winrate. Bot mirrors them with 60-second delay. He went quiet for a long time. Then: "How long have you been doing this?" "Eight months." "And you didn't tell me?" I didn't have a good answer. Profile: Fathers don't ask about the money. #Interstellar #InterstellarRerelease last night at Prasads Multiplex #PCX Screen... — superb experience! Image and sound quality was perfection — such a crisp, sharp, detailed, contrasty and bright, high quality DCP! You could even notice the difference in the grain between the 35mm shot scenes and the IMAX 70mm shot scenes. Certain scenes got bright enough that they could light up the front part of the hall (you can see that in the docking sequence clip here). Sound was lovely and powerful (in some parts like the tesseract sequence I noticed that the sound was so powerful it made the screen vibrate, and you could see a vibration like effect on the subtitles too!), as expected. It was a similar experience as the one I had in July 2023. I have said it before, this is undoubtedly, the best place in Hyderabad to watch this movie. Yes, this is the Scope version without the (IMAX exclusive) switching aspect ratios. However the movie is powerful and impactful enough that you'll have a wonderful experience. josh to dustin: “i don’t know why people see... you in a different way ‘cause i see you the same way [your fans] see you” at the end of the day, what the people closest to you have to say about you will always matter more than the opinions of those who only view you through a narrow and biased lens. josh has always been one of dustin’s most genuine and consistent friends. inside the house, he was dustin’s most trusted confidant. outside, he stayed the same. dustin even said “ako na bahala sayo” when josh got evicted, and true enough, he now has josh’s back. josh being a surprise guest at his fanmeet is a testament to that. also, josh didn’t give a flying fuck about the noise dustin was receiving. he even tweeted him a birthday greeting just days after his eviction, when the hate for dustin was at its peak, because he knows him. truly and deeply. josh wasn’t just a viewer of a show that only shows a tiny fraction of what really happens behind the scenes, a show notorious for creating “villains” for storyline’s sake. he actually lived with dustin, saw him every day, and formed his own, real understanding of who he is. and that’s what true friendship is all about. Hey everyone, it’s me, Liz. ❤️ I wanted to... take a quick minute to clear something up because I saw a comment saying my account is run by AI or that I’m not a real person. I completely understand why that confusion happens — a lot of my videos are made with AI tools to help create beautiful visuals and smooth delivery. But I want you to know with all my heart: I am a real person. Behind every message, every positive word, and every bit of love I share here, it’s really me. I’m the one typing, feeling, and caring about all of you. The AI just helps me put the videos together so they look nice and reach more people — but the kindness, the thoughts, and the intention are 100% mine. I started this account to spread light, encouragement, and love, and that comes straight from my real human heart. Thank you for following me, for your sweet comments, and for being part of this little community. It truly means the world to me. If you’ve ever wondered or felt unsure, I hope this helps. I’m right here, just a regular person who loves connecting with all of you. Keep spreading kindness with me — the world needs more of it! Sending you all a big hug. See you in the next video. 🩷show more

I just built a Meta Ads diagnostic in Claude... Code that tells you WHY your account broke, not just what changed 🤯 It spins up a team of agents that each investigate a different reason performance dropped, then argue against each other to kill the wrong answer before it ever reaches you. All inside Claude Code. Perfect for DTC brands and agencies who panic-kill creative the second CPA spikes. If you've watched ROAS fall off a cliff and opened Ads Manager with ten tabs going, you already know what happens next. Your gut says "creative fatigue." You kill your best-performing ad. A week later performance is still broken, because that was never the problem. Guessing wrong is the most expensive move in paid social. This workflow ends the guessing: → One agent investigates each competing theory — creative fatigue, budget and delivery changes, traffic quality, offer and seasonality → Each one is blind to the others, reasoning only from its own slice of the data so they can't bias each other → A refuter agent then attacks every surviving theory and tries to kill it → A theory only stands if the data can't disprove it → You get a ranked diagnosis: the real cause, the evidence for and against it, and the one move to make this week No anchoring on the first obvious answer. No killing winning creative on a hunch. No "here's what happened" reports that never tell you why. What you get: → Every theory tested in parallel instead of one biased guess → An adversarial pass that kills the wrong answer before you act on it → A ranked diagnosis with confidence levels and evidence both ways → A reusable workflow you drop next month's export into and re-run Built 100% in Claude Code with the new dynamic workflows. The first account I ran it on looked like textbook creative fatigue. The workflow disagreed, and traced the real cause to a budget change that had doubled spend and flooded delivery with junk traffic. I put together a full playbook with the exact workflow, the prompt, and how to run it on your own account. Want it for free? > Like this post > Comment "META" And I'll send it over (must be following so I can DM)show more

I am in the church of American consumerism. The... fact that I'm telling you this probably tells you what store I'm in. It isn’t a Tesla store. Think bigger. Way bigger. That you have to show your club card to get in. Just like if I say, "What kind of shoes was Tiger Woods wearing?" you probably would get that right too. What other brands have such a strong memory in everybody's head? I remember my boss taking me to Price Club back in the 1980s. Which is what Costco used to be called. “Don’t tell anyone about this place. It will put us out of business.” The family store I used to work at is gone. If you talk to a Tesla fan all you need to say is “triangle” and we know exactly which vehicle you are talking about. At the Tesla Oasis, which is in the middle of nowhere in California north of Los Angeles, the solar panels are at the same angle. Why I notice these things? I have hung out with brand designers and storytellers at the highest level. Oakley treats its designers as better than everyone else. It has special equipment that deposits a layer a few atoms thick as glass and plastic. That is how it gets to reflect light in such a colorful way. If you see them you know they are Oakleys. Can’t wait for a pair to come out from some tech company that basically say to everyone “yes I am wearing a camera.” Whoever turns that negative into a club will have a huge moat. Like Harley Davidson turned its negative image into a brand that the Governor of Texas once talked to my partner about for more than an hour both with very fond tones. My friend says Cybertruck is a failure. I say that will be a very popular vehicle on Robotaxi. Just watch. Once you are inside for a ride you will understand. As for the glasses, Zuckerberg had plans long ago to have us play games with our friends in the street. That kind of club.show more

“Hello?” “Patrik…Marshawn is gone.” “What do you mean?” “He... died.” *drops phone, tears fall* —— I’ve tried so many times to find words since answering my phone early Thursday morning, but nothing qualifies to relay the devastation — the shattered heart knowing we had spoken not long before. I’ve replayed so many of our talks in my mind since that call. The first day you arrived in Dallas wearing that huge smile, so ready to make your family and your mom proud, and you did. The endless talks we had about comics, anime and gaming, always comparing notes on each topic and promising we’d squad up on Marvel Rivals next offseason when we both have time. Time… the thing we tell ourselves we have but never truly do. 💔 The talks we had after you had a tough game or practice, or injury, still smiling, always smiling; and outwardly the eternal optimist even while you fought those demons that I am personally all too familiar with. Mine nearly claimed me as well. You fought them in the dark while always being the light for others, and that is your legacy: selflessness, graciousness, humility, kindness, authenticity and compassion. Anyone who has ever caught us laughing during our talks or wondered where I was only to find us off to the side talking about so many different things knows I lost a little brother on Nov. 6, 2025. And to know what I lost you to, given how passionately I advocate for mental health, will haunt my days until I see you again. But, until I do, just know your passing will only embolden me to be even more unrelenting in preaching mental health, and especially for boys and men who think silence is strength when the opposite is true when help is needed. And if that saves just one person, then you will not have passed in vain. Rest peacefully, Shawn. You told me a couple days prior: “OK bet, I’ll see you later, Pat!” You will, but I still have work to do here first, and that includes making sure you’re never forgotten and that the memory of you never fades in people’s minds. I am blessed to know I said the following to you while you were here to hear it, but one more time for old time’s sake: “I love you, bro. Take care of yourself.” 🕊️ P.S. You win. Naruto is the best anime, and I was kidding, because you were always S-Rank. 🖤 #iykyk You didn’t have to try to level solo, though. No goodbyes. Ttyl. "Mega Man X5 Improvement Project Addendum" is about to... become "Mega Man X5 Tweaks." Long overdue. The first release aims to make most changes from the Addendum project available individually, including those additional "hex editor" options that some of you might have missed entirely. And everything I've been working on for the past couple of years: 🤖 Armor sprites displayed by Parts (the big one) 🤖 Special Weapons (regular and charged) available for all Armors 🤖 Boss Parameters (Health Bars, Leveling System options, damage and speed values for select moves, and reduced idle times) And a few localization choices that previously were impossible to mix and match: All the English scripts we've gone through: 🤖 Original PS1 version 🤖 Original PS1 + MMXLC2 changes (what we had up to v1.5) 🤖 Retranslation (what we've had since v1.6), now available with either the new or the original font And also: 🤖 Japanese, with all the necessary graphics changes included ...And a bunch of Title Screen options. Why not. The GUI is still a work in progress, obviously, but it's growing daily. I might include a couple of extra things too. The important thing is that every issue under the hood that prevented this from being possible from the start has already been solved. See you soonnnshow more
