I got free credits to test vivago.ai (HiDream) and... created this video and the results are amazing. Prompt: A young Chinese woman vlogging while walking through a lively street in China during golden hour. She holds her phone in selfie mode and smiles naturally while talking to the camera. The street is filled with people, bicycles, colorful shop signs with Chinese characters, food stalls, and passing scooters. The camera smoothly switches between selfie shots and cinematic B-roll of the bustling street. Realistic facial expressions, natural hand movements, authentic ambient city sounds, soft sunlight, shallow depth of field, ultra-realistic 4K, documentary travel vlog style, smooth stabilization, vibrant colors, 15 seconds.show more

Just finished Animal Kingdom (2010), I reckon it’s the... best Australian film I’ve ever watched. I genuinely reckon this is the movie I would tell foreigners to watch if they want to understand the dark side of Australia. It has everything - disgusting corrupt lawyers, corrupt police, the security forces and state struggling to maintain “social cohesion” in the face of a seething violent underworld. So many incompetent idiots and so many people on the take. It’s so beautifully filmed too. So many stunning shots of gritty Australian suburbia, the kinds of streets I would drive down almost every single day. The streets, the old Australian cars, the dialogue, the cadence of the actors, it’s all just so vividly Australian. It’s amazing to see it on screen. It’s also amazing to witness how much the country has changed in the 15 years since the film was released. To be honest the Australian cityscapes on display in the film are almost unrecognisable today. If you wanted to remake the film in Melbourne today you would have to incorporate streets that look completely like Shenzhen both in terms of population and in terms of the actual urban built environment (skyscrapers, bubble tea shops, Chinese money transmitters, real estate shops). You would have to have vape shops and halal chicken shops and foreign owned convenience stores. The film is so overwhelmingly Anglo Australian that it feels like it could have been set in the 70s. Apart from just a few passing characters the film is almost completely Anglo Australian, specifically dealing with a criminal sub-section of the Anglo Australian underclass. The clash is between the official Anglo Australia - the state and the security forces - and the Anglo Australian underclass struggling against them. I feel like it would be hard to remake a film with these same themes today. It would be like pretending Irish mobsters and Italian gangsters still dominate American crime. Now so much of the violent crime is done by foreign dominated gangs. Even the premise of the film - a rogue paramilitary style section of the police (the Armed Robbery Squad) going wild and carrying out extrajudicial executions against violent criminals - is just bizarre today given the actual state of the criminal justice system in Australia. A significant number of armed robbers in Australia today would be migrant youths who get bail within 24 hours.show more

It feels SO good and honestly makes me incredibly... proud to see other fandoms praising my girl and the work she does. 🥹🫶🏻 Yesterday, when Solenn updated all the pictures and videos of FREEN and Love from the event on time, just like they always do, Love’s fandom was genuinely so happy. They were praising Solenn’s professionalism and saying how amazing it was to see an agency actually share their artist’s work promptly when their own idol’s agency sometimes doesn’t. Seeing them appreciate how well Freen’s company handled everything made me SO proud. 🥹 And then, almost immediately, fans shared a video of Freen on stage saying goodbye to everyone while still carefully guiding her team to get shots from different angles. GIRL WAS LITERALLY ON STAGE, BUT CEO MODE WAS STILL FULLY ACTIVATED. 🫠 She notices EVERYTHING. 😂 Even recently, Charlotte’s fandom was praising Freen for the way she takes care of Charlotte and saying how much she genuinely cares about her and is such a good friend to her. 🥹🫂 And now people are also praising the service Freen provides to her own fans. Whenever she launches a product, she puts so much effort into making sure everything is handled properly from production and packaging to delivery and customer service. She pays attention to every little step, makes sure things are delivered on time, and whenever someone has an issue, even if it’s only a small number of people, she tries to resolve it quickly and make sure they receive proper support. That’s why people trust her. She’s not only talented and hardworking; she’s incredibly attentive, professional, and serious about doing things properly. Watching people from different fandoms notice and appreciate these qualities makes my heart SO full. I’m just sitting here like "THAT’S MY GIRL". 😭🫶🏻 All this praise genuinely makes me feel so proud and reassures me that I’m following the right person. 🥹❤️ #srchafreen‌show more
