Americans have terrible cultural constructs around aging. For instance,... I notice a trend amongst my friends entering their 30s & 40s where I'll invite them to do a fun, adventurous thing, and some will say things like, "Sounds amazing, but I feel too old for that kind of thing now." Huh? In Spain and Berlin, I saw mothers bringing their babies to bars and concerts to hang out with their adult friends. Meanwhile, the people I party the most with these days are a crew of dancers mostly over 50. "They must be societal dropouts or something" you might be thinking. But the opposite is true. One is CEO of a perfume company. Another is a doctor and professor at NYU. Another is a travel show host who just came with me to a 7am rave yesterday. The list continues: advertising executives, restaurant owners, etc. And most have kids. These people are still doing adulthood. They just haven't given up their vital spark. Things seem especially bad for older American women. There's this idea that you age out of being beautiful, that beauty is only for the young. This is bs. The older dancer women I'm talking about are still smokin', and I see them get hit on. Granted, there may be certain *kinds* of beauty that are for the young. But we generally under-appreciate how magnetic an older woman can be...if she's able to internally defy the American idea that older women are unattractive. In France, it seems like a lot of praise focuses on allure, charme, elegance, and idioms like "avoir du chien" – roughly, having a spark. None of those are indexed to youth the way "cute" or "hot" are in our culture. I gather that an aging French woman can move into a different type of attractiveness rather than just giving up on the erotic and romantic aspects of life altogether. I wonder what's wrong with us. Why do we believe that becoming older also means becoming boring and unattractive?show more

Wondering if you are “quad dominant” in your throw... and if you should change it? Maybe you shouldn’t 🤷♂️ A coach’s post coming from Austin Roark 🚀⠀ -⠀ One question I get from a lot of athletes is whether they should change their lower half because their knee is over their toe during their loading phase down the mound. ⠀ -⠀ The biggest thing that I look for when trying to figure out if it is an issue or not is to see how they are able to get out of that position. Some guys are able to leverage and rotate from that position extremely well, which then I would say that it’s not an issue.⠀ -⠀ On the other hand, there are some guys who will get out of this position by driving extension out of their back leg, killing their ability to rotate their pelvis and get it in an open position into landing.⠀ -⠀ This is when I would suggest trying to make a change. I think a lot of people jump into certain ideologies that you shouldn’t do certain things because it’s “inefficient” or it looks “wrong”. ⠀ -⠀ Take a look at these pitchers shown in the video. All 3 of these high level arms have some degree of knee flexion over their toe. Now, granted, they all have insane levers to help them, but the way they are moving is what makes them efficient in how they throw. ⠀ -⠀ I think if you told Dustin May that he had to hold a vertical shin down the mound, it would be a disaster and mess a lot of things up upstream that would impact him in a negative way.⠀ -⠀ The big takeaway here is that there are no absolutes. One thing that may look inefficient to you could be the thing that makes someone else very efficient.⠀ -⠀ When trying to figure out if you should change something about someone's delivery, make sure to look at the entire unit as a whole and don’t jump into any quick changes.show more

Lady Gaga says you have committed violence by objecting... to her celebration of Dylan Mulvaney on International Women’s Day. “It's appalling to me that a post about National Women's Day by Dylan Mulvaney and me would be met with such vitriol and hatred. When I see a newspaper reporting on hatred but calling it ‘backlash’ I feel it is important to clarify that hatred is hatred, and this kind of hatred is violence. “Backlash would imply that people who love or respect Dylan and me didn't like something we did. This is not backlash. This is hatred. “But it is not surprising given the immense work that it's obvious we still have to do as a society to make room for transgender lives to be cherished and upheld by all of us. “I feel very protective in this moment, not only of Dylan, but of the trans community who continues to lead the way with their endless grace and inspiration in the face of constant degradation, intolerance, and physical, verbal, and mental violence. I certainly do not speak for this community, but I have something to say. I hope all women will come together to honor us ALL for International Women's Day, and may we do that always until THE DAY that all women are celebrated equally. That all people are celebrated equally. A day where people of all gender identities are celebrated on whichever holiday speaks to them. Because people of all gender identities and races deserve peace and dignity. “May we all come together and be loving, accepting, warm, welcoming. May we all stand and honor the complexity and challenge of trans life-that we do not know, but can seek to understand and have compassion for. I love people too much to allow hatred to be referred to as ‘backlash.’ People deserve better.”show more

The Sabotaging Practice of Over Supply and Sameness in... the NFT Space. The current zeitgeist of the NFT space is that the same artists are doing the same kind of work five times a year, with project after project leaving a trail of disappointment and discontent among collectors and all of us watching in disbelief as huge resources are extracted from the space over work that feels like it could be left as an "artist study." I understand that you can do what you want with your money as collectors, but we are killing the whole space with this incestuous practice. No artist is that prolific to be able to do 5 collections of 100+ pieces each every year and actually deliver innovation and some kind of creative evolution. Of course, they can pretend play that the work has something new, but there is no precedent nor proof that that has ever happened in the speed that it happens in the NFT space. Again, people are free to through away their resources on whatever they want but with this way of doing things, we more and more are going to start seeing the consequences. Oh! There are consequences? Yes. Maybe unintended, but there are. Let's see. Let's start with the loss of belief in the NFT space as somewhere where emerging artists can come and find support for their experiments. Why even bother to bring experiments, innovation, and new ways to think of art on the blockchain if the same people have all the collectors hypnotized with their magical flutes? Why even try to come to a space where taking risks and challenging the status quo (the mission of art!!!) is overlooked? This makes the NFT space a social club and not a space for art. I guess it is fine, but IMO it is a recipe for disaster. New collectors stay away because the art will slowly but surely become stale and un-challenging. Why even bother to come and see what is happening here if you can't, as a collector, see new weird and up-and-coming artists? The amount of noise emitted by the same artists doing the same art over and over, drowns out any new voices. Again. A recipe for disaster. The NFT space is becoming a space of disappointment and doubt. We think that collections going to zero one after the other, over and over, is not damaging? I feel we are kidding ourselves. Disappointment piles up, and again, the people who will hurt are the emerging artists, the new blood, the ones who are willing to risk the most and, in return, put fire in this cold space of sameness. I love this space—don't get me wrong—it has changed my life, and I believe it has a ton of potential, but things need to change for it to become a beacon of light in art. But we need to support new voices. We need to support new ideas. The challenge is huge. I hope to contribute all I can to this change. I hope more and more see how exciting it is to go out and try to discover what else is out there and move this space forward. But again, I understand the leaps of faith needed, but if there is a space that is based on that, it's the NFT space...so there is hope. We will see. 📺by Boldtronshow more

Usually I don’t speak on political issues often however... Charlie Kirk’s death (RIP) hits a little too close to home. Perhaps it is because anyone who has some resemblance of a following who is outspoken against any narrative online has probably received some sort of threat in their inbox. (I know I have) It is baffling to me that one could harbour such a large amount of hate inside of them to want to have another silenced for having differing opinions than their own. I think about all my outspoken friends who are in positions faced to the public and of course myself and what this potentially means for all of us. This of course, would never stop me from speaking out to what’s right, so perhaps that is also why I wanted to make a comment. To me it is disgusting behaviour to mock/be happy about the death of people you disagree with that have done nothing wrong. I think about all my friends, family who could be wrongfully persecuted based off the delusions of perceived “sides”. The amount of hate manufactured and projected onto you for just living your life and not complying to a certain ideal is insane. I don’t like fear mongering but I also think it’s important to stay vigilant to what’s going on around you. It is a very real reality that there are people out there that hate you just for simply being you and what you represent to them. We’ve seen evidence of this twice this week and I suspect more to come unfortunately. I am always hopeful so I will leave this message on a positive note, that just as much hate has also been met with just as much love. There are many amazing kind hearted people out there standing up for what’s right and building community, coming together. Even if they are moving in silence behind the scenes or in front stage, I see you and I honour your work.show more

There is a state park by me that closes... when the sun goes down for safety reasons. I always see people find a way in there to do what they need to do. No matter what they do mayor be add a gate or even have more law enforcement, there’s no stopping it. These people are sitting in their car. They see people walking in and out of the woods while they are sitting there eating and chatting. The people going in and out look so out of place, like they are in a zombie apocalypse. If I saw people just struggling in and out of the woods, looking dirty, no flashlights at all. I would think they are up to something. Especially for the hikers making their way back and hearing rumbling and voices I would be creeped out too.show more

🛜 POSSIBLE STUTTER FIX FOR CS2 🛜 I just... did some tests on an offline and online server and i have noticed that cl_updaterate is set to 20 by default. You can actually change the value for 128 or whatever while you are still on the server ( i recommend that u disconnect to do it ) Another thing that CAPET ☀️ linked me is a full list of CS2 console commands, some of them are working and some of them are either cheat protected or for devs only ! There are a lot of negative things in the... world. There’s a lot of terrible things that are happening all over the world all the time. There are lots of problems that need to get solved. So, lots of things that are miserable and kind of get you down. But life cannot just be about solving one miserable problem after another. That can’t be the only thing. There need to be things that inspire you. That make you glad to wake up in the morning and be part of humanity. Earth is the cradle of humanity, but you cannot stay in the cradle forever. It is time to go forth, become a star-faring civilization. I find that incredibly exciting. That makes me glad to be alive. I hope you feel the same way. — Elon Muskshow more

My theory on "non-binary" identities: Some women have extremely... low self-esteem, which leads to them being uncomfortable with the idea of femininity. And after all, if women are supposed to be feminine beautiful, but they're not feminine & don't *feel* beautiful, they must not be women. So they reject womanhood in favor of a more neutral label. "Non-binary." Now they don't have to deal with the associations or expectations of being a woman OR a man. As someone who has struggled with self-esteem and body image, I understand the thought process and inclinations. However, being a woman or man isn't something you feel or perform. It's just what you are. Putting on a suit doesn't make you a different gender. I feel for people like Bella Ramsey, but the truth is young women not being comfortable in their own skin is nothing new or revolutionary.show more

You try to tell guys about this and they... don’t understand. I have been the broke guy with women paying for everything for me. I have had women trying to move me into their place when I was in-debt and unemployed. We are talking very attractive women, with plenty of options with men who have jobs, houses, etc. Women are not attracted to money in and of itself. Yes, there are broke women who are desperate for a man who will pay their bills for them. But as soon as you hit middle class or higher, money becomes less and less of a concern to women. There are a lot of women out there who are not worried about money at all and are just looking for a guy they’re attracted to. By ‘attracted’, we’re not talking ‘Adonis-tier Chad’ (another widespread Internet rumor); instead, we’re talking: • Cool • Fun • Confident • Sexy • Social skills • Knows what he is ABOUT with a solid male FRAME A little ambition doesn’t hurt, either. No middle or upper class girl wants to date the guy who’s broke and is content to STAY broke. But if you’re down and out but with big dreams, and you’re working on them, that’ll sweep a lot of women right up. Then instead of going for a guy who’s a ‘sure thing’, they get to bet on an up-and-comer. Money’s great to have if you have it. But there are a lot of dudes with money who do not have women. There are a lot of dudes who have women who do not have money. Money ≠ women. It is just a nice tool for making life easier.show more

What an humiliation in Syria. As a woman and... an MEP, I find this unpalatable. Women are nothing to them. Why they don't shake the hand of the German foreign minister because she is a woman is exactly the same reason why women are treated differently in all areas. In their eyes, women are just scum. That says a lot about the policies they will pursue. I feel disgusted by the idea of a EU that adjusts to that. video by Andreas Kynastshow more

A few days ago Jerod McDaniel shared a quote... along the lines of “horses made for war don’t dance well at weddings” I think there are a lot of people like myself that know how plants… or livestock.. or a pasture or even building a house or pouring concrete work. We just want to do what we do. The weather worked out well this year for this. We’re going to be 👍 I could grow about anything, but I like to do it my own way. I sometimes wish I didn’t have to predict or guess what people will do… or markets… and the all the corresponding things that entails. I know you can’t just do your craft, but sometimes you want to just immerse yourself in something you have a more complete understanding of. I watch people like Adam Chappell do this with cotton. Zack Smith come up with farmonius designs Intergrazing livestock. We could do so much cool shit, if only we could just have the local markets, infrastructure… if the average person could have that connection and means to trade with the local farm / farmer that just wanted to just do it…be him or herself Maybe I left you hanging with the main idea here. hypergamy is going to hit women like a 50-megaton... thermonuclear bomb, and the reason is because these women are hypergamous themselves female hypergamy hit society first due to the natural supply/demand gap between the sexes, and it's certainly caused somewhat of a death spiral of intersexual relations, but the outcome will not be this hypercompetition between men for women, but rather men checking out of the game entirely as the juice stops being worth the squeeze porn is only getting more immersive and sex bots are on the way, and social media exposes men to 10/10 women nonstop; why then would men break their backs for a crumb of attention for mediocre women? even men with genuine value to bring struggle in the current dating market, the fatigue is beginning to set in for women there are two options: a) make the squeeze easier, or b) make the juice more worthwhile a) would require that they lower their standards and expectations, make themselves more accessible, accept a man with less to offer when they know someone better is out there they don't have that in them, so they resort to b) b) means making the juice tastier, it mean tightening up the juice's nasolabial folds and waist-to-hip ratio. it means injecting the juice with hyaluronic acid fillers and, when that isn't enough to get ahead, it means making real changes to the juice's recipe like getting structural surgery there is a very small supply of beautiful people on this planet, but in the age of the internet that small supply is accessible to everyone at all times instead of being a random beautiful stranger you may rarely come across on the street. everyone’s perceptions of what is accessible to them is being distorted, and even if only 1% of people are truly beautiful themselves that is enough for 99% of the subpar masses to feel like they can share. past a certain point of abundance a person cannot comprehend the difference between 10 million people and 1 billion, it’s just a lot. if 1 billion compete for 10 million it still feels like an infinite prize pool. this has corrupted women tremendously, but it is absolutely going to and already beginning to do the same with men as men get more and more immersed in and addicted to cheap hits of sexual dopamine such as porn, social media, online dating (which is a corrupting force for both genders) they will be less and less willing to settle for a girl who is any less than perfect because quite frankly, she probably just won’t be worth it to them anyway there is already a long cultural precedent for women going to extreme measures to looksmaxx for male attention, if men start to become fed up with them and hypergamy increases on both ends the blackpill will explode with women. already women know when they are left on delivered by chad that if they were prettier this wouldn’t be happening, they are beginning to make this observation en masse and it is driving the rise in radfem and “femcel” (i.e. girl who can’t bag chad) ideology. women are realizing that body positivity and self-love was a scam, and that looks are law i’m betting all in on the upcoming female blackpill trend, putting my stock in it. i’d keep an eye out for it because it has already begun and it’s only going to get biggershow more

"Why are young women using walking sticks?" One of... the newer trends among Leftists is to use walking sticks or wheelchairs. I've seen this going on for a long time, but didn't think much of it until this article came out several days ago and Leftists had meltdowns over it. The people doing it tend to be fully capable of walking and functioning perfectly fine when they're in the mood to do it. They almost always identify as some form of LGBT, tend to be female, are often overweight, usually don't work, and are often self diagnosed with things like ADHD, chronic pain, fatigue, migraines..., which they claim cause their disabilities. There are countless people with actual disabilities who are often in severe pain, truly have issues with walking, are missing limbs, mostly paralyzed, have difficulty speaking, are deaf or blind, have different diseases that they fight against every day..., yet they try their best to function like most people, work, get degrees, have families, socialize.... People with true disabilities tend to treat them like abilities. They have something that may be seen as a a disability, but instead treat it as a slight disadvantage that pushes them try doing just as good, if not better than everyone else. They don't make it their whole identity. These "disabled" Leftists on the other hand make it their whole identity. Their bios and posts are full of them trying to push how "disabled" they are. The real disability of theirs is laziness and feeling the need to victimize themselves in order to get attention that they don't get otherwise and probably didn't get enough of when they were younger. There is now "disability pride month" to push how much of a victim their self diagnosis made them because they need a month to remind you of it every day instead of every other day. I'm all for having a month, week, or day to celebrate truly disabled people who overcome their disabilities every day, but most of what I've seen is these scumbags taking over such things. These same people would have a meltdown over "cultural appropriation," yet here they are pretending to be disabled. It's a disgrace.show more

This is something all Indians must understand leaving behind... politics and ideologies: The massive boom in India's infrastructure in the last 10 years is undeniable. Be it highways, border roads, airports, trains, metros, or ports - there's a 100-300% increase compared to before. No joke. I have not seen this level of development and building for decades before. Projects are not just announced but are actually being completed and inaugurated. When you have this much infrastructure being built by thousands of contractors and companies, there will always be some issues come up. From bad quality here and there to delays in some. It happens in every country. Even in the most developed and advanced ones like the very large US or very small Singapore. They too have leaking metro stations, roads that cave in, bridges that break, and trains that breakdown. But only for India, there's a coordinated communist campaign being run online to blackpill Indians by lifting every issue around the large country, amplifying it as the worst that only happens in India, to destroy the credibility of India's development and government. If you suddenly start building 100,000 kms of highways, using thousands of contractors and hundreds of companies, yes there will be a few kms of bad patch somewhere or a bad contractor doing a shoddy job. Yet, that is being taken and amplified online to disillusion Indians about their own democracy, destroy their confidence, and derail India's development using their disillusionment. They are made to believe and say "Everything is bad, everything is corrupt." This is being done in a coordinated way targeting India's youth primarily. Because the adversaries know India's youth have no past experience to judge. And they are the ones who will take India to the future. They can be easily programmed showing only the glitzy images of Shangai & Shenzen to make them feel sad about their cities. They know by disillusioning them, and destroying their confidence, India's development can be arrested for a long time. If you as an older adult understand this and the significance of the current infrastructure boom for the future, it is your responsibility to inform at least a few of the people you know offline about what's going on. It's OK you get challenged, ridiculed, or even abused. Because we know the mental programming and blackpilling is that much these days. Yet, it is important to try make them understand for India's sake.show more

JADE gets emotional reflecting on her North American tour... in a new TikTok: “I’m having so much fun on this tour. I just feel so grateful that I’m getting to do this at this point in my career. The fact that I get to tour [North America] after being in the industry for 15 years, and only now just getting to do my own headline tour, is incredible. It’s been a long time coming. What’s really beautiful about these shows is that when I look into the audience, I recognise so many of the fans here from back in the day, who’ve literally waited for years – like me! – for this moment. It just makes me feel so loved and supported to know people have believed in me enough to stick around for years waiting for this to happen. Anyone that’s bought a ticket, dressed up, made their own costumes… It’s just such a lovely, beautiful thing. I hope they can see when I’m on stage just how much that means to me, and how much I love performing and putting on the best show that I possibly can every single night. I will never ever take it for granted. I’m just so chuffed that I get to do this for a living… be a silly pop girlie, write and create music that brings people – and myself – a lot of joy… Thank you for believing in me. I literally get on the bunk on my bus most nights from the tour and just lie there like, ‘Oh my god! As if this is my life!’ It means a lot. I hope I get to do this for the rest of my life… Full of gratitude and lots of all the lovely emotions. Thank you so much.”show more

BTW, for those wondering, the issue I talked about... earlier was with dbrand's Killswitch for Switch 2 grip. They are a sponsor of the channel. So people naturally have questions when they see videos like this (came from their reddit). Because I am NOT a normal customer, and instead being sponsored by them, I have the unique opportunity to talk to them directly about the issue. They just got back to me. Here is what I can share from our communication: "Yep, we’re definitely working on it. Ultimately, this is a manufacturing tolerance issue on the small lip that keeps the Joy-Con Grips attached to the Joy-Cons (some were a hair too thick). We’ve got a replacement program set up already, where anyone who is affected is able to email robotsdbrand.com with “July Joy-Cons” in the subject to be added to the list for replacement stock in July." So they are aware of it, and they did tell me they can replicate it with a small number of units from their run. I won't share the exact number of units that have this issue - it's quite tiny compared to their total manufacturing run - but they have confirmed there is a certain run of units that do indeed have this issue. They are offering free replacements to be shipped in July for those affected.show more

"Explosion in Kharkiv" or something along those lines is... the most frequent post I make. I've probably made a thousand of them by now, if not more. Air raid alerts are so frequent here that I usually don't even post about them. They can last for days, and the citizens of Kharkiv are forced to disregard them. Or we can have twelve of them in a day, and we will also be forced to disregard them. I often see online how central or western Ukraine complains about the alerts, and oh, how much I would give to have an actual solid warning about an attack like them. But "explosions in Kharkiv" always arrive unexpectedly. How surreal it is that we are forced to live like this. How horrific it is that thousands of bombs, missiles, and drones fall on a major city in Europe daily, and all the major press and political figures just pretend it doesn't happen. Because if they admit that it happens and they just watch it year after year, then what kind of people are they? Do they care at all?show more
