Visa Opens a New Route For Onchain Lending Into... Payments Visa is connecting its VisaNet settlement data with blockchain based lending infrastructure. This would enable lenders to extend loans to finance payment obligations through VisaNet transaction data. The lenders can also analyze Visa settlement data along with on-chain data to evaluate the borrowers and funding requests. The company gave the example of Credit Coop, which has extended $2.5 billion worth of settlement volume since 2023. It is part of an ongoing effort by Visa’s stablecoin payment service, which is growing in its network of operations. There are now over 160 stablecoin linked card programs running on Visa, with their payment volume increasing by almost 200% YOY.show more

Securitize puts its first tokenized fund on TRON Securitize... has launched Hamilton Lane's tokenized private credit fund, HLSCOPE, on TRON (TRON DAO), its first asset issued on the network. The fund gives qualified investors onchain exposure to Hamilton Lane's senior secured lending strategy through a regulated feeder, with Wormhole handling cross-chain movement. HLSCOPE already runs on Ethereum, Polygon, and other chains. The whitepaper for @ProjectLendX dropped yesterday after many months.... This is a disrupter, aiming to change how crypto lending works. To date, most all lending is p2p, $LENDX is the closest thing to institutional lending without the constraints. This is built on #Arbitrum for all of #DeFi. - There is nothing out there on any chain like the ALT function that Lendx developed. - This is true 1 sided lending, liquidity for the pool is provided BY LendX, not p2p. - Incorporated $ARB through a synthetic asset lending loop further adds value. - The ALT function is scalable to size, and it is tech that can be utilized by future projects to fund their protocol without having a token tax. All live on launch, all audited prior. No insane token emissions to provide incentive for p2p lenders, we've cut all the fat out of crypto lending and have a machine built in it's place.
