Hope will always have a home with us. As... I hinted at this morning, I got a sense from the property manager that this tear down ranch house may not be available as a rental for much longer… we could try to buy the lot but the process is long and complicated…and there would be no house standing while it all played out. And we’d be competing against a bunch of local developers. We went in another direction. To be honest this is a plan/project we’ve been working on for the last six months. I’ll cut to the chase. We bought a house under construction four doors down. It’s already part of Hope and the herd’s habitat so the adjustment should be fairly smooth. If you look at the first photo shot from the top floor of our new house you can see our small ranch rental between the blue house and light brown one. We’re moving in. The fact Zac Taylor referenced him having the same tenacity as Erick All tells you what you need to know about he’s viewed. - Vet day for Chase meant extra passes for Tee Higgins. Hit some, but still off at times, working to get their connection down (nobody should be worried about this). - Ugly drop by Andrei Iosivas to close practice on a crosser. Dad tip: One thing I do often that I... just did today was when we are playing at a park or play land & a kid is: -kind -polite -friendly -respectful I make it a point to go up to his parents & tell them awesome job raising a great young man afterwards. Today, an awesome 12 year old that climbed this entire shaky ladder kept encouraging Kingston, telling him great job, giving him pointers & was just an awesome young man. He had hair just like Kingston's too :) His parents beamed with pride when I went over to them later to tell them what a great kid they had & that they were doing an awesome job as parents because kids like that don't happen by accident. Parenting is hard. We should all encourage one another & celebrate great young, respectful boys & girls. Shoutout to all the parents working hard raising young champions & future leaders!show more
