Ant and Dec have apologised and pulled this video... because some people found it “triggering” and “sickening”. As a psychotherapist: These people need to develop resilience. This pandering to ‘safetyism’ leads to poorer mental health, as it increases emotional fragility.show more

This is why I get so frustrated when I... see people post rubbish about persistent hip pain being driven by tightness in muscles, or mobility issues, or because they have switched off glutes. It’s so much more complex. I’d like to think I’m at the coal face of dealing with patients who often have persistent pain for years and years. They struggle and it really can take a toll, physically and mentally. Unfortunately all too often these patients have had masses of input, all often forgetting about the number one important thing, the patient, and treating them as a person. People deal with mental health issues in various ways and as healthcare practitioners we need to consider how we screen and manage those who maybe struggle more. It’s self perpetuating as ultimately the anxiety will grow with the poorer level of management. Those being managed incorrectly, ultimately leads to no positive outcome, that increases anxiety that the issue won’t resolve, and ultimately it’s a spiral. We need to break that cycle, it isn’t easy. It definitely is not so simplistic as to just strengthen your hip flexors, or to do some stretches. It’s about building physical and emotional resilience with rehab and that for me is a skill that sets apart the best physios from the rest. Remember: We treat people with hip pain. We don’t treat hip pain.show more

In the legends of the Hopi, there are stories... about beings called the Ant People. These beings are said to have lived underground and helped the Hopi during times of great danger. One of the main stories says that during earlier worlds, when disasters like fire or ice came, the Ant People guided some of the Hopi into tunnels beneath the earth to keep them safe. Down there, they were given food and taught how to survive until it was safe to return to the surface. The Ant People are described as hardworking and cooperative, much like ants themselves, and they are remembered as helpers rather than rulers. The stories also say the Ant People shared knowledge with the Hopi. This included how to store food, live simply, and work together as a group. In some versions, they helped guide people between different “worlds,” which are seen as cycles of time where each world ends and another begins. These teachings are still reflected in Hopi values today, especially the idea of living in balance and preparing for hard times. The underground setting is an important part of the story, and many see it as both a real place and a symbol of protection and survival during periods when the surface world becomes unstable.show more

Bob Lazar said that there was classified material connected... to religions and that ‘aliens’ view humans as containers for the soul. The Amazonian tribes call the Gray aliens Mankunawabu, or the ant people, beings said to live underground that can snatch a person’s soul and take it below the Earth, with only a powerful shaman able to bring it back.
