In a recent interview, Chelsea and Argentina midfielder Enzo... Fernández has opened up about a terrifying incident at his home in England. “It’s just a football celebration. That’s all it was. But England fans got heated over it that they decided to break into my home, steal my things, and send me messages telling me never to set foot in England again. It’s crazy. I’ve played in different countries and faced different fans, but I have to say England fans have the worst fanbase when it comes to this kind of hate. They take things too far. Football is football. Celebrations happen. Threatening a player’s family and home because of a goal celebration is not normal. I regret coming to England at the first place, i should’ve have joined Real Madrid and not chelsea”show more

SOMEONE BUILT A WAY TO SEND FILES BETWEEN TWO... PHONES WITH NO WIFI, NO BLUETOOTH AND NO NETWORK AT ALL it works with just a screen flashing qr codes at a camera one device plays an endless stream of animated qr codes, the other one points its camera at the screen and rebuilds the file out of the light no pairing, no app, no shared network, nothing but the camera > its pulling about 129 kb/s, a full 2mb image transfers in seconds > theres no back channel, the receiver can never ask for a missed frame, so it uses fountain codes, every frame is a scrambled mix of the file rather than one piece of it > that means the receiver just collects any frames it can catch in any order, and once it has enough it can reconstruct the whole file > dropping frames costs you a little time but never breaks the transfer > you can point the camera at a stream thats already running and it just locks on mid flight he was building a cached mp3 player because he was sick of ads and bad streaming quality. he wanted a way to send tracks phone to phone without both phones being on the same network, and realized flashing qr codes could carry the data he built the whole working prototype in one night with claude code its open source and already at 375 starsshow more

We wanted to wait until the vet saw Bunsen... but on Sunday night he pulled something in his back and had a hard time walking. On Monday he improved, but at times had trouble laying down. Today he is doing much better, no pain walking or laying down. The vet figures it could be a similar thing (slipped disc) that happened in his neck- big dogs and older dogs are at risk for it. With rest it should go away- and it looks like it is. So the big guy is back on light activity.show more

All across the UK this is happening and it... is happening every single day. The Patriot Platform is building a real resistance movement. These English and British men understand what is at stake. They know we must have a way to push back. While too many sit in the comfort of their homes, tapping at a laptop or phone and telling themselves they are doing their part, they are not. These men know it is time to do something different. This is a Christian country. This is England. This is our homeland. By the grace of God, we will protect her. Watching European fans scramble for 4 AM kickoffs during... the World Cup is the ultimate karma. ☕️⚽️ For years, I’ve heard about how "real" fans brave the cold in the UK while we "plastic" international supporters are supposedly lesser for waking up at ungodly hours to watch the Premier League. Funny how the narrative shifts when the tournament is in the States and they’re the ones nursing a lukewarm tea at dawn. Turns out, the passion feels exactly the same at 4 AM regardless of the zip code—everyone is just equally stressed, tired, and screaming at their TV. Welcome to the club, lads. Enjoy the early alarm. ⏰📉 #WorldCup #GlobalFandom #Arsenal #PremierLeague #FootballTalkshow more

On AEW Grand Slam Australia: Yes, the merch stand... was poorly planned out like last year. Yes, there were empty seats and some fans apparently were moved. Yes, a perhaps unwise choice was made with the booking of the first AEW match on the card IMO. But I'll say this, and you can't feel this through a phone screen, but it was such a fun atmosphere and a fun show for the most part. And my cousin (15), whose first ever live show this was, keeps talking about how cool certain spots and moments were (particularly the ladder match and crowd fighting). They made a fan out of him last night, and I just think that's pretty cool. Sure, it won't move the needle, but we were all that kid falling in love with pro-wrestling once upon a time. It's nice to see the tradition continue. So yeah, it was well done show on an emotional level, and on a wrestling level, if not entirely on a logistical level.show more

iPhone Duo just made the iPad Mini pointless and... nobody at Apple is talking about it. 7.6 inch display. Apple Pencil support. Split View. Two Safari windows side by side. This is an iPad that fits in your pocket and makes phone calls. Why would anyone buy an iPad Mini now? The Duo does everything it does plus it folds shut and slides into your jeans. Apple just killed their own product and Samsung couldn't even kill a crease in 8 years. Follow me, I'm about to show why the Duo is replacing three devices at once.show more

5 travel tips for Southeast Asia 1/ Carry small... cash, but don’t rely on it alone. Street food, markets, and small local shops may still prefer cash, but most cities are now built around QR payments and mobile-first spending. 2/ Learn the local payment habits before you land. Thailand uses PromptPay. Vietnam uses VietQR. The Philippines uses QRPh. Indonesia uses QRIS. Knowing this saves time at checkout. 3/ Keep your travel wallet simple. Cards, cash, exchange counters, and multiple local apps can get messy fast. The easier option is having one wallet that works across different payment moments. 4/ Use crypto where it actually makes sense. For travelers holding digital assets, crypto becomes useful when it can be spent in real life. With PayWithCrypto, scan-to-pay makes everyday payments easier across supported local QR systems. 5/ Spend like a local, move like a traveler. The best travel setup is simple: fewer steps, fewer fees, and payments that work naturally wherever the day takes you. Travel is changing. Payments should travel with you.show more

This statement by Morgan Wallen at is Chicago show... ruffled the feathers of a lot fans back in Pittsburgh. Wallen was in Chicago playing at Soldier Field where it was raining. He says to the crowd “ I just wanna say that it is raining right now and we gonna’ play through it” and kind of chuckles. Many took that as a slight to Pittsburgh where he canceled his show due to weather concerns but which ended up being a beautiful night there when the concert would have started. A lot of fans in Pittsburgh are wondering why he didn’t “play through” there when it ended up not raining at all. 🤔 Many said they still haven’t received their refund and wondered why he wouldn’t just reschedule. Some said all they got was a promo code for a future concert. 🤯 Some of people in Chicago said they only went to see Brooks N’ Dunn, who were opening for him in Chicago and said they left after they played and didn’t stay to see Morgan. You think his comment was much to do about nothing or was he slighting Pittsburgh? Don’t you think he could make everything a whole lot easier and better if he just rescheduled the Pittsburgh show?show more
