I just tested Claude’s Niagara skills. I had it... create this “quest icon” Niagara system using two assets I provided it with. A single 3D model and a single texture. It did the rest and I even had it create a bp parameter value to adjust the circle sprite.show more

I was looking at it and thought, "Oh, this color is pretty?!" "I'm gonna dye my hair purple!" That's probably what happened. And I did it myself, I think. I asked for the hair dye.. then I couldn't apply it evenly, so it came out really patchy. But I think the reaction was actually better because of that. This man applied for a job and was hired... but told them he could start for 6 weeks because he wanted to do some traveling for leisure. But during the hiring process he had 72 hours to do a drug test which he failed to do. They cancelled his job offer and he feels it wasn’t because of the missed drug test, so what is he implying the reasoning behind it was then? Fresh out of college, that insurance gig was the first one I applied for and was hired for. Up until then I never had to take a drug test but then again why would I have? I didn’t do drugs on a normal basis anyways. But my best friends were pot heads. On the day before my drug test I was smoking a cigarette and my friend asked for a hit and I gave it to him. The other friend passed me a joint and I took it thinking it was my cigarette and I took a long dragged and almost coughed up a lung. I panicked, I just had taken a hit of pot when I had to be drug tested for a new job the next day. I went to the testing and did it, I got a call a few days later from HR confirming I passed and I told her I was worried because my friends smoke and I thought it would show up in my system as a second hand application. She said nah don’t worry, we only test for the hard stuff anyways. That part I didn’t know, but after that I saw my other buddies pass their work related tests too so maybe it was more widespread than I knew.show more

I'm not a 3d modeler. I barely know how... to open blender let alone do anything functional in it. But with the siddharth ahuja blender MCP and Claude I was able to vibe code an entire environment for my upcoming grow a garden game in Portals Claude used the MCP to assemble and arrange every single asset in this space (i literally don't even know how to import an asset into blender lol) within the spawn of a few hours and with access to a folder of low poly assets. When I had it start doing its own modeling, it even matched the style of the environment to keep things consistent If you are building UGC games and you don't know anything about modeling or design like me, you gotta try it out...show more
