This family was at the beach. They got there... early and set up in front so they could watch their kids play in the water. Then this family shows up and they set up in front of them. 🤯 There was no one to the left or the right of them. Clear as could be. 😳 A lot of people said they should have moved closer so no one could set up in front of them. But many others said if the beach was open and there was no one to the left or right of them then that is just plain rude. I always leave a little sand in front in case my kids want to play or we usually throw our boogie boards in front. I’d have been irritated and would have asked them to move. 💯 What do you think? I’m trying to get this intersection fixed on Market... in the Castro in front of Bar 49. I shot this video yesterday while walking to dinner. Anytime of day you can see cars aggressively almost hitting people in the crosswalk. This is because this intersection is so wide that, for one of the right turns on green, you can’t see the pedestrian crosswalk signal at all and you have time to speed up heading towards this crosswalk. Many of these drivers assume you are jaywalking even though you have 20 seconds left to walk. This leads to some frequent aggressive behavior and near misses with pedestrians. The drivers assume this configuration wouldn’t have the crosswalk active at that time - and I agree that it shouldn’t be.show more

Description ⬇️: Left Alone by Archie Shepp (1978) is one of the most beautiful pieces of instrumental music I know. A saxophone, accompanied by a piano, plays notes that resonate with my heart. In my mind, this photograph moves with an impossible slowness to an undefinable silence between notes in jazz riff. The duality in this Aria, Left Alone, is nihilism and conflagration. I posed the model and the fabric in the Japanese character for fire. She models the pose of power in the fluidity of dance. A flame, alone, is a powerful and fragile life force that is on the brink of greatness, and the precipice of darkness; life extinguished. The red is her power extending from heart center and the white is the searing flame. The art is laden with abstractions. Broken pieces of the self that seem grotesque but to the observer, are beautiful. To illustrate how these glitches are manifest in ourselves, I’ve placed each on a Fibonacci curve that spirals from the heart, representing our repeating thought patterns. In Left Alone, I chose to hide the Fibonacci curve. In the latter Arias, I chose to reveal them. At approximately 2:30 a.m. on February 8, 2026, four individuals entered a business in the 400 block of Ouellette Avenue after being dropped off in a silver Dodge Caravan. Shortly after entering, the suspects got involved in a verbal altercation with lone male, which escalated into a physical assault. The victim sustained significant, but non-life-threatening, injuries. Following the incident, the four suspects fled the scene on foot, running northbound on Ouellette Avenue. The Windsor Police Major Crimes Unit have taken carriage of the investigation and are looking to identify and locate the four suspects. The first suspect is described as a white male with dark hair styled with length on top and shorter, faded sides. He had a prominent dark mustache and goatee. At the time of the incident, he wore a short-sleeved white T-shirt featuring a small black horizontal detail on the left chest, black pants or joggers, and solid white sneakers. He was also wearing a silver or metallic watch on his left wrist. The second suspect is described as a white male with dark slicked-back hair. At the time of the incident, he wore a long-sleeved white shirt or thermal under a black quilted or puffer vest, black pants, and heavy black boots or dark shoes. Investigators noted that he was frequently seen with his hands behind his head or neck. The third suspect is described as a white male with dark medium-length hair, a thick dark beard, and a mustache.
