On Feb. 19, 2026, at approximately 10:00 a.m., Boulder City Police received a 911 call reporting a vehicle had crashed through a secured gate at a Department of Water and Power substation. The caller also reported hearing gunshots after the crash. Responding officers located a silver Nissan Sentra that had breached the facility’s perimeter fence and come to rest inside the secured area. Officers discovered a deceased adult male in the driver’s seat suffering from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Multiple firearms were observed inside the vehicle. There is no ongoing threat to the public at this time.show more

#Breaking Unified Police Department responded to a domestic disturbance... at approximately 10:27 PM at 4100 W Twilight Drive in #Kearns. Upon arrival, officers heard multiple shots fired. Two individuals exited the home with gunshot wounds and were transported to the hospital. After waiting for additional units, police made entry and located two more people deceased inside the residence. A total of four people were shot — two transported with injuries and two confirmed deceased. The investigation is ongoing. There is no threat to the public. This appears to be an isolated incident. C10s⁉️ | Officers from the South African Police Service... have seized a vehicle that was found at the home of the son of former Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe. The vehicle is not a police car, but it was fitted with a police siren and white flashing lights, which are only allowed on authorised emergency vehicles. Officers came across the car as it was leaving the premises while they were returning to continue searching for a missing firearm. The vehicle had three occupants inside, two men and one woman. At approximately 12:50 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2026,... officers responded to a report of a collision in the 2200 block of Victoria Avenue. Initial investigation determined that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street. The driver briefly stopped at the scene before leaving the area. Further investigation led officers to identify and locate the suspect vehicle parked at a business in the 2200 block of Victoria Avenue. At approximately 1:47 p.m., the driver was taken into custody without incident. AbbyPD Investigating Serious Collision on Old Yale Road Abbotsford,... BC – April 13th, 2026 – On April 9th at approximately 4:45 p.m., Abbotsford Police patrol officers responded to a two vehicle collision on the eastbound Highway 11 off ramp at Old Yale Road. While en route, officers were advised that one of the vehicles—a blue Hyundai SUV—had fled the initial collision at a high rate of speed. The SUV continued eastbound along Old Yale Road, crossed into oncoming traffic, left the roadway, and collided with a tree in Crossley Park. Emergency crews arrived to find three occupants in the SUV. Fortunately, no one sustained serious injuries, and all were transported to hospital as a precaution. The driver of the second vehicle involved in the original collision was not injured. The investigation is in its early stages. Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed either collision, or who was in Crossley Park at the time the SUV entered the park and struck the tree, to come forward and speak to police. A major incident unfolded this afternoon in Surrey's Whalley... neighbourhood. Two people were stabbed, with one victim dying at the scene. The suspect was later shot by police & subsequently died in hospital. SPS say the incident began around 1 p.m. when officers responded to a report of an assault at a building in the 13300 block of Old Yale Rd. Police located two victims suffering from stab wounds, while the suspect had fled the scene. A short time later, police located the suspect nearby. UPDATE | City of Harare statement on Kuwadzana sludge... The City of Harare says the black sludge seen coming from water tanks in Kuwadzana Extension is residue from water treatment chemicals that builds up at the bottom of reservoirs over time. The city says the sludge is not harmful and is being removed as part of an ongoing reservoir-cleaning exercise. Water distribution in the area is expected to resume after the cleaning is completed on 31 August 2026. The city also said some sludge has flowed onto roads because houses are located near a dislodging valve.show more

The Boulder Police Department is trying to find two... possible victims after a hit and run near the Bolder Boulder race yesterday. Just after 8:15 a.m. on Monday, May 27, bike officers contacted and stopped a driver in the Whole Foods parking lot on Pearl Street after receiving reports of a driver acting strangely at a nearby race barricade, wearing a ski mask and then running two stop signs. Despite stopping briefly and talking with officers, the driver then ignored officers’ commands and drove off. The suspect was driving a brown Ford Explorer when he struck another car in the parking lot and nearly hit a woman walking nearby before driving off. He continued driving away from officers and headed toward blocked off roads where race participants were running. Numerous officers coordinated to keep the driver from entering the racecourse and conducted a pinch maneuver to stop the car. The suspect was then taken into custody. Officers would like to speak to the owner of the vehicle that was struck and to the woman who was almost hit, who might have been an early race runner or a spectator, seen in this video clip. “We are all very thankful that these two community members appear to be okay despite what happened and that we stopped this man before he could get any closer to the race,” interim Boulder Police Chief Stephen Redfearn said. “Crimes like this are exactly what we train for and we have been preparing for this event for months, both internally with our drone, Patrol, SWAT, K9 and Traffic teams and with our partners at CU, the Bolder Boulder, several Boulder County public safety agencies as well as community members. The incident is said to have occurred on 02 April 2026, at the Volksrust Police Station. UTAH COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — The UCSO confirmed in... an update that they found human remains in the mountains above Springville. At around 6:30 p.m. on March 28, deputies responded to a report of possible human bones found in the mountains above Springville. A witness had reportedly been riding a horse in the area earlier in the day when they found the remains. At that time, the witness was unable to call police due to a lack of cell service but put in a call as soon as they had service.
