FSD V14.3.1 camps the left lane and gets passed... on the right by multiple vehicles. So weird to me that despite how intelligent the car is during so many scenarios, it has so much trouble with this very simple thing. I still feel like 14.1 was the best highway iteration ever. 14.3.1 seems overall worse than 14.2.2.5 so far.show more

In a horrific incident on National Highway 48 near... Kallambella in Sira taluk, Tumakuru district, a youth detonated a country-made bomb inside a car, killing himself. The woman he had allegedly kidnapped and the car driver escaped with their lives. In a major development, police discovered another live bomb at the scene during inspection. The deceased has been identified as Nagendra (30), a native of Ankola in Uttara Kannada district. The survivor, Ramya, also hails from Ankola and works as a lab technician at Rajiv Gandhi Hospital in Bengaluru. Nagendra was employed as a delivery boy. The two had been in a romantic relationship for the past seven to eight years. However, differences arose over marriage, and Ramya had reportedly refused to marry him. Enraged by her rejection, Nagendra booked a rented car and went to Ramya's paying guest accommodation in Bengaluru, where he forcibly kidnapped her. He had allegedly prepared a country-made bomb beforehand. Immediately after Ramya went missing, her friend filed a complaint at Siddapura police station in Bengaluru. While traveling on the Shira highway, a heated argument broke out between the two inside the car. Nagendra allegedly struck Ramya on the head with a weapon. In a swift move, Ramya jumped out of the moving vehicle to save herself. The driver stopped to help her, and she was shifted to safety. Seizing the moment, Nagendra locked all the doors from inside and detonated the country-made bomb he had brought. The explosion completely charred the car, and Nagendra was burned alive inside. Speaking to media, the car driver, Pravin, said: "I received a booking on Uber under the name Nagendra. Around 11 AM, both of them boarded the car in Jayanagar. There was no trouble until Kallambella. Meanwhile, I received a call from Ankola informing me that it was a kidnapping case. Later, an argument broke out between them. He stabbed her with a knife. I immediately stopped the car on the roadside. My first priority was to rescue the woman, so I helped her onto a passing bike. At that point, she told me there was a bomb in the car." Pravin further added: "When I approached the car, the youth was holding a bomb in his hand. I snatched it and threw it away. Then he tried to ignite another bomb, and I ran away. Moments later, the car exploded. I had purchased this car by pawning my wife's jewelry." Police have recovered the live bomb from the spot. A team from Bengaluru is arriving to assist in the investigation. Tumakuru SP Venkat visited the site and conducted an inspection. A joint investigation by Siddapura and Kallambella police is underway. Further details are awaited as the investigation continues.show more

It’s all been happening in Crosby. Someone sent this... in “Hello could you also please report an incident about some lads in crosby spraying urine at women and some elderly out there window, been seen around crosby last 2 days, I want to report annomysly, but it’s somthing I’ve seen and no ones sead anything”. - I’m going to assume and hope this is just water and it’s just lads arsing about. So I’ve hidden the car and the registration plate so I don’t get them into any trouble. If anyone knows who this is tell them to jib it. Their card is marked and this could possibly have been sent to the police as well (not by me) and their reg is clearly visible. Save themselves the hassle and swerve it. Especially if people are accusing them of spraying piss. Just end up with police at your door doing your heads in over daft shit.show more

d) During the end of his end of the... year stage for “Tiger Inside” Lee Know looks like he had trouble breathing and standing up alongside Moonbin. Moonbin’s team was next to him aiding him, while Lee Knows team was nowhere to be found, he was left alone on the floor panting unable to stand properly. Again, JYPEnt never addressed this. e) Last year there was a car accident where 3 members were involved, Lee Know was one of them, JYPE put out a notice about the accident, but didn't give any details. Lee Know disappeared from social platforms. Later Lee Know appeared with a big injury in the arm again, and the company never addressed it. f) The only time the company addressed an injury of Lee Know, was when he appeared with a cast in a presentation for AAA, so it was impossible to hide it. They only released a notice after the presentation when everyone was talking about it, and they said Lee Know asked them to keep it quiet before, but that the injury was caused by Lee Know himself in his free time while boxing.show more

You might have seen a lot of thai fans... saying that #PerthSanta spend a lot of time online because they always know the latest memes and it’s sooo true. Examples of what they’ve been using lately: - “You scared me, give me a hug” wasn’t actually created by Ta, this phrase has been going around on TikTok since early July but he couldn’t have timed it more perfectly 😂 You can find a lot of videos if you search ตกใจหมดมากอดหน่อย or similar - “WHATS” easy to miss this one but it went viral after a thai driver got into a car accident and tried to pretend to speak english only just to avoid getting into trouble. She spoke with such a thick accent that instead of saying “what” (the easiest word to pronounce) she said something that sounded like “whats” and people have been using it as a joke ever since. 2nd clip is PS saying it, 3rd clip is the original of the girl - “dtdraai” or “dress” people have been using these words instead of saying “oh I’m d€ad” and you’ll see it often in thai posts too. I’ve found a good video explaining it in more detail (4th clip) If this ever comes across our thai little devils I’d love to know if there are more! It’s pretty hard to keep up without actually living in thailand but it’s so much fun and we’d love to laugh about it with you 🙇🏻♀️show more

What happens when Europeans find out how poor they... are? The Europoor? Nothing. That’s what happens. Americans ring the White House every morning to ask what the GDP is today, the way the rest of us check the weather. The trouble is that GDP is what you get when you stick Jeff Bezos and a man sleeping in a Walmart car park into a spreadsheet and take the average. It tells you the country is rich. It does not tell you that a hundred million people inside it are quietly not. GDP measures how much money sloshes around. It does not measure whether any of it ever reaches you, or what sort of life you get to live once it does. It also, rather conveniently, doesn’t mention the bill. Because the whole American miracle is being run on a credit card that has been on fire since the Reagan administration. The federal government owes nearly forty trillion dollars. The households owe another eighteen. Car loans, student loans, medical debt, a mortgage the size of a small principality, and a Visa bill that arrives in an envelope you have to open with tongs. This is the country lecturing the rest of us about prosperity. This is a man pulling up to valet parking in a leased Lamborghini and calling himself rich because nobody at the table has yet asked to see his bank statement. Run any household like that and the bailiffs would be through the door by Thursday. Run a country like that and apparently you get to be on the cover of The Economist. And this is where the whole sermon falls apart. Because on every single thing that actually makes a life worth getting out of bed for, Europe wins. Not by a bit. By a humiliating distance. The food. The streets. The holidays. The pavements you can walk on without being flattened by a Dodge the size of a small barn. The cities built before the invention of the strip mall. The Tuesday afternoon that contains an actual lunch, rather than a protein bar eaten standing up over a keyboard. The summer that contains an actual summer. Pick any parameter that matters to a human being who is alive and would like to remain so in reasonable spirits, and Europe is ahead. Often by a mile. Sometimes by an ocean. So no. Europeans are not about to find out how poor they are. We found out years ago, had a long hard look at the alternative, the debt, the diabetes, the drive-thru funerals, and decided we’d really rather not. What’s Behind the Trees I run local trails and... dirt paths to explore. I don’t hit a pace target at my age anymore…not that there’s anything wrong with that. Remember. I’m training for life. But I love to explore new areas. I leave time to get lost and to find out what’s actually out there. The result has been a strange and consistent surprise — some of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen are actually within a few miles of my house. Quiet creek crossings, ridgelines with views, and an amazing dam and waterfall (see below) I didn’t know existed. There’s a road I travel often only 100’ from the dam, yet you can’t see it and I’d driven past it for years without ever knowing what sat behind the trees. Although… my propensity to get lost on trails did get me in trouble in Costa Rica 😮💨…. And almost shot in rural Colorado. 😫 I would never have found any of it from the road. I found it because I was moving slowly enough to notice and far enough from any trailhead to be somewhere many people don’t go. There’s a lesson in this that applies well beyond running. The interesting stuff is almost never on the main path. It’s a quarter mile off the obvious route, down a trail nobody told you about. You have to be willing to be a little lost, a little uncertain about where the loop closes, a little later getting home than you planned. Endurance training gives you the engine to do that. An hour or two of easy aerobic work isn’t a sacrifice… it’s the mechanism... It’s what lets you wander far enough from the car to find the place worth finding. Go explore where you live (Except for a certain trail in Costa Rica and some rural roads in Colorado). You don’t know it as well as you think you do.show more

Odette Sansom. The Gestapo placed her toenails on the... table, one by one, and asked the question again. She looked at them and said: “I have nothing to say.” Before the war she was a French housewife in Somerset, raising three daughters. A letter offering photographs of the French coast reached the wrong office. Someone noticed her languages. In November 1942 she entered occupied France as “Lise,” working with the SPINDLE network. In April 1943 she and Peter Churchill were betrayed and arrested in the Alps. On the way to prison she told the Germans he was her husband and related to Winston Churchill — and that she, not he, led the network. They believed her. He became a hostage. She became the target. At 84 Avenue Foch they burned her with a red-hot poker and tore out her toenails. She knew names that would have destroyed the network. She gave them none. Sentenced to death, she said: “Then you will have to make up your mind on what count I am to be executed, because I can only die once.” At Ravensbrück she endured starvation, solitary confinement, and darkness. Childhood illness had already taught her darkness. She heard Violette Szabo, Denise Bloch, and Lilian Rolfe taken to their deaths. She survived. In May 1945 commandant Fritz Suhren drove her toward American lines, hoping to bargain with her life. She stepped from the car and told the Americans to arrest him. She later testified. He was executed. In 1946 she received the George Cross. She accepted it for the women who never came home. Strangers wrote to her for decades when they were desperate. She answered. “People in trouble seem to think I am someone worth writing to.” Odette Sansom died in Surrey in 1995, aged 82. Until she could no longer travel, she returned each Remembrance Day for the SOE women who did not survive. She called their connection permanent. ❤️show more
