Current P5X Palace on Global has a bug where... certain objects become impossible to walk over unless you cap the game's frame rate to 30fps Alternatively, taking a screenshot will also work because it stutters the game for long enough that it lets Wonder pass throughshow more

Silent Hill 2 stutters all over the place and... it really ruins the game's atmospheric ambitions. Why is it stuttering? Can it be fixed? In answering those questions I stumbled on something possibly more disturbing than spikes on a frame-time graph. Enjoy!show more

Quantum tunneling ✍️ It is a fascinating phenomenon. Subatomic... particles, like electrons, behave more like waves than solid objects. This lets them pass through barriers that seem impossible to cross. In the classical world, if you throw a ball at a wall, it always bounces back. In the quantum world, however, a particle has a small chance of just appearing on the other side of an energy "wall." This occurs because a particle's position is described by a wave of probability. This wave doesn’t drop to zero the moment it hits an obstacle. Instead, it "leaks" through, allowing some of the particle to pass to the other side. While this may sound like science fiction, this "leaking" is what allows the Sun to shine, makes modern smartphone memory possible, and lets scientists map individual atoms. Hello I'm the developer of a program called lolnam... editor, a replay sequence tool similar to LeagueDirector that quite a few League editors currently use. I'm writing this post because of a Replay API bug that has persisted for over six months. Currently, when two rotation keyframes are placed too close together, the Replay API has a bug where the screen randomly stutters for about 1 frame during keyframe playback. This bug appears to be random (RNG-based) — replaying the same section again sometimes doesn't trigger the bug at all. My program supports a smoothing key type that the Replay API itself doesn't offer. It works by inserting multiple interpolated keyframes between keys to smooth out the path. Because of this, rotation keys end up placed extremely close together, which causes the bug above to occur very frequently. Smooth key types are truly essential for achieving good sequences. I'd really appreciate it if this bug could be fixed. Thanks! League of Legends Dev Team Drew Levin League of Legendsshow more

YOU DON'T NEED TO KNOW BLENDER TO MAKE THIS... ANYMORE. GPT-5.6 drives it through MCP. you just describe the shot. a chrome figure carving a wave off an accretion disk. filaments of plasma raking across the frame. a car catching the same light on its way into the vortex. this is a viewport, not a render farm. the model never touched a menu. MCP hands it a socket into Blender, it writes python against bpy, it builds the emission shader, places the volumetrics, sets the camera roll. the hard part was never the picture. it was the ten thousand hotkeys standing between you and the picture. that toll booth just closed. it still can't see what it made unless you show it. you screenshot, you say the plasma's washing out the left third, it fixes, you screenshot again. the skill stopped being the software. the skill is now knowing what a good frame looks like and being able to say it out loud.show more

It's safe to say that Marvel's Wolverine failed to... meet player expectations. Not only did the mainstream journalists not like it, but the gamers themselves mostly hated it. Repetitive combat, linear "on rails" gameplay, and an overall setup that insults the player instead of treating them like adults. Because of that, it is widely expected that the game will fail to meet commercial expectations as well, as people are ditching their copy of the game, trying to sell it on eBay and other platforms. In any case, it should be considered a crime for a game company to burn well over 300 million dollars to create an aggressively bad game that ends up being more like massive e-waste. The game will be remembered as another one in a long list of failed Western AAA games. I think the funniest part of this game's saga so far is how Kai Cenat was so excited for the game, had a costume made with all the bells and whistles of the background setup... only to rate it a 6/10, saying it was not good.show more
