This is the new ESA video of 3I/ATLAS passing... Mars. I cropped around 3I/ATLAS, then made it larger, made it brighter, and added some blue color to help us see details. It has no "tail" like for a "comet". Yet it is carrying some kind of gaseous coma along with it on all sides. Since ESA did not give us a color image, we cannot say (from this video) which gasses that coma is made of.show more

The most interesting thing about Perplexity Comet is that... it can actually do things in Cal / Gmail Ex. I asked it to reschedule a 1:1 - it moved the invite and sent an email Neither Google nor OpenAI have done this in their agents…maybe for safety reasons, but it’s limiting 🤔show more

okay, week 2, let's go. here's everything new in... Atlas v1.2: → ⌘K menu (for quick navigation between collections, moving items around, and more) → folders! you can now create folders, move folders, move collections into folders, rearrange folders, group, ungroup, whatever (⌘+⌥+⇧+N or file → new folder) → save videos from X. just copy a link with video and paste to any collection. yep, just like that, works like magic, keeps the original post URL in inspector.show more

🚨 3I/ATLAS Critical Update 🚨 It’s happening again. 3I/ATLAS... has changed its shape —Its new form looks nothing like any comet we’ve ever seen before. A rounded, glowing green light has now appeared, with no visible tail at all. The image, captured on November 10 by Ray’s Astrophotography, shows what looks more like a moving sphere of energy than a frozen ball of ice and dust. Even more astonishing — researchers have noticed that this object seems to have absorbed solar energy, releasing it in geometric patterns, and is resonating at 7.83 Hz, the same frequency as the Schumann resonance — Earth’s natural heartbeat. Could this really be a comet… or something far greater — an intelligent presence moving silently through deep space? 👀 #3IATLAS #spacemystery #interstellarobjectshow more

🚨 THE “ALIEN COMET” MOMENT IS HERE — 3I/ATLAS... PASSES EARTH NEXT WEEK 🚨 Something extraordinary from outside our solar system is quietly passing by. The interstellar object 3I/ATLAS will reach its closest point to Earth on December 19, 2025, and many headlines are struggling to explain what’s really happening. Here’s the simple truth: 3I/ATLAS is NOT coming toward Earth. Instead, Earth is moving closer to its path as we orbit the Sun. It’s like two cars on different lanes briefly coming closer — dramatic to watch, but completely safe. 3I/ATLAS has already traveled beyond Mars’ orbit and is now heading out of the solar system forever. There is no impact risk. Even at its closest, it will remain hundreds of millions of kilometers away. What makes this moment special isn’t danger — it’s rarity. This object came from another star system, passed through our cosmic neighborhood, and will never return again. This isn’t a warning. It’s a reminder that the universe is vast, mysterious, and full of visitors we’re only just beginning to understand. #3IATLAS #interstellarobject #3Iアトラスshow more

Samsung just added AirDrop support to Quick Share on... the Galaxy S26. Google already did this on Pixel 10 last year. Now Samsung is doing it too. So Android and iPhone can now share files with each other natively. No apps. No cables. Rolling out from today. Korea gets it first. Then North America, Europe, Japan, Latin America, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Only S26 series for now. More devices later. You have to turn it on manually in Quick Share settings though. Not on by default. Is this the feature that finally makes file sharing between Android and iPhone less painful?show more

This was filmed last Tuesday at Animal Rescue in... Albuquerque, New Mexico. The man is Will Navarro. He's 38 years old. Marine Corps veteran. Served two tours. He's been in outpatient treatment for combat-related stress for the past two years. The dog is a four-year-old gray German Shepherd named Atlas. Atlas had been at Cornerstone for fourteen months. The file on his kennel was marked with a red warning label. Multiple volunteers had been unable to work with him. He growled at anyone who approached. Had snapped at a staff member during an early handling attempt. The rescue had quietly concluded that Atlas was unlikely to be placed and had been discussing next steps. Will's therapist, a woman named Dr. Okafor, had suggested animal-assisted interaction as part of his ongoing care. She'd contacted Cornerstone asking if they had any dogs who might benefit from calm, patient company. The rescue coordinator almost said no. Then thought of Atlas. She told Will's therapist exactly what Atlas was. Warned her it might not go anywhere. Dr. Okafor passed the information to Will and left the decision to him. Will showed up on a Tuesday morning. Looked at Atlas through the kennel door. Atlas growled. Will told the coordinator: "That's fine. Can I just sit in the room with him?" Staff brought Atlas into the meet room. Atlas went immediately to the far corner. Low growl. Hard eyes. Will sat down on the floor on the opposite side of the room. Didn't move toward Atlas. Didn't speak to him. Didn't make eye contact. Just sat. Thirty-five minutes passed. Atlas gradually stopped growling. Started watching instead of warning. After about fifty minutes, Atlas took a step forward. Then another. Then crossed the room slowly and stood in front of Will. Then leaned into him. Full body weight. Just leaned. Will put one hand gently on Atlas's back. That was all. The shelter coordinator watching through the window said she had to step away. Will told us afterward: "Atlas isn't dangerous. He's been overwhelmed for a long time and nobody slowed down enough to let him decide when he was ready. I know what that feels like. You're not dangerous. You're just not okay yet." Will applied to adopt Atlas before he left that afternoon. The rescue approved the application the same day. Unanimously. Without discussion. Atlas went home with Will on Thursday. Dr. Okafor said: "I referred Will because I thought the interaction might help him. I didn't expect him to walk out with a dog who's been labeled unadoptable for over a year. Will saw something in Atlas that everyone else had given up on seeing." Sometimes healing recognizes healing. Sometimes patience is the only thing that was ever needed.show more

“The Last Meatball” Animation: jboogx.creative & enigmatic_e Movement: jboogx.creative... & enigmatic_e Reference Imagery: FLUX on Civitai Jboogx and I have known each other for the better part of the last 12 months. I think we've both been inspired by each other's work and dedication to exploring all the ways we can push these tools to their limits for VFX and animation. We didn't want to force a collaboration, but recently, Jboogx was inspired by the work I've been doing and how I incorporate myself into my animations. This idea is a playful take on 'Atlas carrying the boulder,' but with a twist—let's make Atlas out of spaghetti and the boulder a meatball, to fit more with what Jboogx has been doing on the food side of things lately (shoutout to our good friend James Gerde -@gerdegotit @gerdedoesit @gerdemadeit, who did the first spaghetti animation). Since I was going to record myself, it wouldn't have been right if Jboogx didn't as well! This is just a taste of what’s possible. I'm located in Germany, and Jboogx is in Hawaii. A world apart, and we pulled this together in 48 hours. BTS coming soon 😉show more

This video was taken the day I played through... the first build of the Neural DSP Archetype JM X plugin. We’d set up my amp rig in the live room and were switching between the rig and the plugin. I threw every test at it; does turning the volume knob to 5 create a natural response in tone? It did. Does a single note that’s held die out without a noise gate eating it or the “math” just giving up? It did. Do two notes bent at once with distortion on create natural harmonic overtones exactly like the amps in the room? They did, exactly. I had the engineer switch between signals without my knowing. “That’s the amps,” I’d guess. “Plugin,” the engineer would say, several times. It had fooled me. Neural DSP had done it. It wasn’t just a faithful recreation of my sound - it was the first plugin I’d ever heard that proved that digital modeling could create a digital emulation with zero compromises. I’d like to say that we went back and forth countless times, making tweaks until it was right, but the truth is that they pretty much nailed it on the first try. Only a few EQ changes and some changes to a couple of the effects pedals were needed. The thousands of hours of creation came to fruition yesterday when the plugin was released, and it’s been a joy to see and hear players putting this software to the test and being as impressed as I was in this video. Thank you to every guitar player who created such clever and great sounding presets and for spreading the word. I can’t wait to hear all the new music that’s created with this plugin. Getting my sound is just the beginning of what it can do, and I can’t wait to hear what musicians create with it.show more

Beyoncé in a recent interview: “I called the bank... to freeze Blue Ivy’s account after I discovered she had been sending $10,000 each to her boyfriend and two of her female friends and apparently, this had been going on for months. I did it because she needs to understand that being born into a wealthy family is a privilege, not a license to spend endlessly. I never want her to mistake that privilege for an unlimited supply of money. She’s only 14 and already sending out $30,000 a month to friends. That’s crazy.”show more

I MADE MY AI AGENT 10X FASTER WITHOUT CHANGING... THE MODEL not a smarter model, not a bigger context window, not another clever prompt the same kind of AI that designs vaccines for viruses we have not even met yet was spending two minutes opening the wrong files just to hand me a brief from three months ago the problem was never capability, it was the scaffolding that piled up around my agent by accident, folder by folder an agent does not think in your categories, it searches from scratch every single time, and your tidy human folders are a maze to it the fix was almost stupidly small, one index file at the root of each big folder and a few numbers in front of the folder names slowest task dropped from 2 minutes to 26 seconds, fastest ones hit 10, zero model changes capability is cheap when the scaffolding around it is broken the article breaks down the whole system in 15 minutes ↓show more

Today I had my first demo drive in a... Tesla. It was also my first time ever sitting in one. This was the first car I’ve ever sat in the driver’s seat of where I didn’t touch the steering wheel for over 20 miles. Before I even got to the car, the people who had demoed it before me were an older married couple who were absolutely euphoric. They thought it was so cool that the car could drive itself. The Tesla employee told me this happens all the time. People come back from demo drives and tell the next test driver that they’re about to have an amazing experience. Little did I know, I’d end up carrying on the torch to the next couple demoing it after me. There was a ton of construction where I demoed the car, and FSD handled the entire drive extremely well. And yes, it can go through a drive-thru and stop at each window. The only thing I had to do was tap the pedal because it wouldn’t leave on its own, but it was still wild seeing the AI stop perfectly at the second window and wait. There are a million things I could write about why a Tesla feels like a better car and how much more it offers compared to a regular car. But for now, I’ll stick to FSD. There were only two moments that made me a little uneasy. The first was pretty minor. The car slightly hesitated going up a driveway, but quickly made up its mind. The second was more noticeable. I didn’t realize the car was nagging me. Once I touched the steering wheel, nothing happened, so I pulled it right a little harder, then let go. After that, the car turned left and crossed a double yellow on a backroad. (and yes I know you can sue the volume knob) I’m not totally sure if it was trying to pull over or what it was doing. I wanted to see how it would handle the situation, but there were cars coming, so I took over and corrected it. One of the coolest moments was when I thought FSD was glitching because it came to a complete stop in the middle of a busy road. Then I looked around and realized why. On the right side, there was a bicyclist waiting at a yellow crosswalk. The cars behind me didn’t honk, and the Tesla stopping actually incentivized another car in the right lane to stop and let him pass. The car is almost too nice to pedestrians, because 99.999% of humans would’ve blown through that, especially with no flashing light. For 99.9% of the drive, the car navigated confidently and smoothly. It was a real “feel the AGI” moment. Please do not let the media, the general public, or anyone else convince you that this technology is just some kind of auto assist or glorified cruise control. This is undoubtedly getting extremely close to feeling superhuman. You still have to pay attention to the road, but after experiencing it myself, I’d be shocked if HW4 Teslas aren’t unsupervised within the next couple years. The car was extremely smooth. There was no harsh braking, and it even avoided something in the road that I didn’t see. Driving with FSD made me realize I probably wasn’t driving as well as I could be. Hopefully, eventually, everyone’s car can be as mindful as a Tesla. I’ve never seen a brand so far removed from the public’s sentiment. I’m so happy I ordered one.show more

For the final music step, note how there’s static... between my first and third symbol. This means that the second symbol is the one that isn’t given to me on the piano. The piano told me that I have: -rhombus dot -static -spiky rhombus -cross -compass So I go to mars and I press rhombus dot and I quickly find the missing symbol: railroad track. I did fuck up in this video and chose compass. It did not automatically fail me though, so I was quickly able to run back and get spiky rhombus, cross, and finally compass.show more
